Setup
Connectivity Modes
The K87 keyboard supports three connection modes: 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wired (USB-C).

1. 2.4G Wireless Connection
- Locate the 2.4G wireless receiver (USB dongle) usually stored in a slot on the keyboard or in the packaging.
- Plug the USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
- Ensure the keyboard's mode switch (typically on the back or side) is set to 2.4G wireless mode.
- The keyboard should automatically connect. If not, press Fn + R (or a designated key combination) to initiate pairing.
2. Bluetooth 5.0 Connection
- Ensure the keyboard's mode switch is set to Bluetooth mode.
- On your device (computer, tablet, phone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- The keyboard will appear as "ATTACK SHARK K87" or similar. Select it to pair.
- The K87 can connect to up to 3 Bluetooth devices. Use Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E to switch between paired devices. To pair a new device, hold Fn + Q/W/E for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes, then pair on your device.
3. Wired USB-C Connection
- Connect the coiled USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the keyboard.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will automatically be recognized and function in wired mode. This mode also charges the keyboard's internal battery.

Chroma RGB Backlight
The K87 keyboard features 28 RGB backlight modes, 8 monochrome backlight modes, and 20 full-color backlight options. You can customize the backlighting to your preference.
