4. Setup

Initial Charging:

Before first use, fully charge the VTOMAN jump starter. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the jump starter's input port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicators will show the charging progress. Ensure the unit is fully charged to 100% for optimal performance.

It is recommended to recharge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain battery health, even if not in use.

5. Operating Instructions: Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps carefully to jump start your vehicle:

  1. Check Battery Level: Ensure the jump starter's battery level is at least 25%. If it is below 25%, recharge the unit before attempting a jump start.
  2. Connect Smart Clamps: Plug the smart jumper clamps into the jump starter unit. Ensure a secure connection.
  3. Connect to Vehicle Battery: Attach the RED clamp to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal. Attach the BLACK clamp to the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal. The smart clamps will indicate if the connection is correct or if there's a reverse polarity issue.
  4. Start Vehicle: Once the clamps are correctly connected and the smart clamps indicate readiness, start your vehicle's engine.
  5. Remove Clamps: As soon as the vehicle starts, remove the smart clamps from the vehicle battery terminals, then disconnect them from the jump starter unit.

7. LED Flashlight Operation

The built-in LED flashlight offers three modes for various situations:

  1. Stable Light: Press and hold the flashlight button to turn on the stable light.
  2. SOS Mode: Press the flashlight button again to switch to SOS signal mode.
  3. Strobe Mode: Press the flashlight button a third time to activate strobe mode.
  4. Turn Off: Press the flashlight button a fourth time to turn off the light, or press and hold the button.
