4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the dry cabinet from its packaging. Inspect the cabinet for any signs of damage during transit. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage if needed.
4.2 Placement
Place the dry cabinet in a location that is stable, dry, and away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, or any heat-emitting appliances. Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit.

Figure 3: Product dimensions for placement consideration. Height: 770mm (approx. 30.3 inches), Width: 380mm (approx. 15 inches), Depth: 390mm (approx. 15.35 inches).
4.3 Leveling
The AD-100L model is equipped with adjustable feet. Rotate the feet at the bottom of the cabinet to ensure it is perfectly level, especially if the floor surface is uneven. This helps maintain proper door sealing and optimal operation.
4.4 Shelf Installation
Insert the crystal shelves into the desired slots within the cabinet. The shelves are adjustable to accommodate items of various sizes. Place the wave sponge inserts on the shelves as needed to protect delicate items like lenses.

4.5 Initial Operation
Before storing any items, it is recommended to run the dry cabinet empty for more than 8 hours. This allows the internal humidity to stabilize and reach a lower level, preparing the cabinet for optimal performance.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On and Display
Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet and connect it to the dry cabinet. The digital LED dual screen will illuminate, displaying the current internal temperature and relative humidity (RH%).

5.2 Setting Humidity Levels
Use the control buttons on the panel to set your desired relative humidity (RH%) level. The cabinet allows control within the range of 25% to 60% RH.
- Press the "SET" button to enter setting mode.
- Use the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons to adjust the target humidity.
- Press "SET" again to confirm your selection.
5.3 LED Light Control
The internal LED lights can be turned ON or OFF using the dedicated button on the control panel. Turning off the lights can help save energy, especially at night.
5.4 Important Operating Tips
- It may take at least 3 hours for the cabinet to reach the set humidity point when storing a large quantity of items or items with high moisture content for the first time.
- The internal temperature of the dry cabinet is monitored but cannot be actively controlled by the unit.
- Always ensure the cabinet door is sealed tightly after opening to maintain optimal dehumidification. The magnetic door seal provides a secure closure.
- It is normal for the internal humidity level to increase after the door is opened, as ambient air enters. The longer the door remains open, the higher the humidity increase will be. The cabinet will resume dehumidifying to the set level once the door is closed.
6. Recommended Humidity Levels for Storage
The ideal humidity level for storage varies depending on the type of item. Refer to the table below for recommended relative humidity (RH%) levels:

Figure 6: Guide for optimal humidity settings based on item type.
| Relative Humidity (RH%) Level | Recommended Items |
|---|---|
| 50% - 60% | Books, antique documents, paper, copy, print |
| 40% - 50% | Camcorders, cameras, lenses, telescopes, microscopes, endoscopes, compact discs, film negatives, film transparency/slides, microfilm, disk drives, audio and video tapes |
| 30% - 40% | Mental and metal powder products, electrical equipment, semiconductors, capacitors, printed circuit boards, IC, batteries, other electronic equipment, precision measuring tools, spectrometers, optics, lenses |
| 25% - 30% | Pharmaceutical raw materials, spices, powder coating, adhesives, seeds, pollen, dry flour |
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
To clean the exterior of the cabinet, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. For the interior, ensure the cabinet is unplugged and use a dry, soft cloth to wipe down surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or internal components.
7.2 Door Seal Inspection
Periodically inspect the magnetic door seal for any signs of wear or damage. A proper seal is crucial for maintaining the desired humidity level inside the cabinet. If the seal is compromised, contact customer support.
