Setup
Installation
- Prepare the Windshield: Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dash cam. Ensure it is free of dust and grease for optimal adhesion.
- Attach GPS Mount: Secure the adhesive GPS mount to the chosen location on the windshield. Ensure the mount is firmly pressed against the glass.
- Mount the Dash Cam: Slide the Vantrue E3 main unit onto the GPS mount until it clicks into place. The magnetic mount allows for easy attachment and removal.
- Connect Power: Plug the 11.4 ft car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Connect the Type-C end of the cable to the dash cam. Route the cable neatly along the windshield edge and pillar to avoid obstructing your view.
- Install Rear Camera (Optional): If using the rear camera, attach it to the rear windshield using its adhesive mount. Connect the 20ft rear cable to the main dash cam unit and route it carefully to the back of the vehicle.

- Automatic Recording: The dash cam begins recording automatically when powered on.
