4. Installation
4.1 Mounting the Gauge
- Before installation, ensure the vehicle's power is off and the battery is disconnected.
- Open a hole with a diameter of 85mm (3.35 inches) in the desired panel location. Ensure there is at least 55mm of clear space behind the panel for the gauge body and wiring.
- Insert the gauge into the prepared hole.
- Secure the gauge using the provided mounting ring and screw down the retaining nut from the back of the panel until it is firmly in place.

4.2 Wiring Connections
Refer to the wiring diagram below for proper connection.

Figure 4.2: Wiring diagram and connection details for the multifunction gauge.
| Wire Color | Function |
|---|---|
| Black | Ground (-) |
| Red | 9-32VDC Power (+) |
| Blue | Fuel Level Sensor Input |
| Yellow | Backlight |
| White | Water Temperature Sensor Input |
| Brown | Oil Pressure Sensor Input |
| Green | Input Signal Adjustment (Connect to Ground for 0-190ohm or 240-33ohm, or 240-33ohm or 0-190ohm) |
Note on Green Wire: The green wire is used to adjust the input signal range for the fuel level sensor.
- If the default input signal is 0-190ohm, connect the green wire to Ground to change the input signal to 240-33ohm.
- If the default input signal is 240-33ohm, connect the green wire to Ground to change the input signal to 0-190ohm.

5. Operation
Once properly installed and powered, the gauge will display the current readings for fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage.
5.1 Interpreting Readings
- Fuel Level: Displays the remaining fuel in the tank.
- Oil Pressure: Indicates the engine's oil pressure.
- Water Temperature: Shows the engine's coolant temperature.
- Voltage: Displays the system's battery voltage.

Figure 5.1: Illuminated gauge display showing all four parameters.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the gauge clean by wiping the display with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Regularly check all wiring connections for corrosion or looseness.
- Ensure the anti-fog glass remains clear for optimal visibility.
7. Troubleshooting
The gauge is equipped with alarm messages for critical conditions.

Figure 7.1: Alarm thresholds and input parameter ranges.
7.1 Alarm Messages
The gauge will indicate an alarm under the following conditions:
- Fuel: Less than 13% fuel remaining.
- Oil Pressure: Below 0.8 bar (or approximately 11.6 PSI).
- Water Temperature: Exceeds 95°C (or approximately 203°F).
- Voltage: Below 11.5V.
7.2 Common Issues
If the gauge is not functioning correctly, consider the following:
- No Display: Check power (Red wire) and ground (Black wire) connections. Ensure 9-32VDC is supplied.
- Incorrect Readings: Verify sensor connections (Blue, White, Brown wires) and ensure the correct sensor type is used. For fuel level, check the green wire connection for correct input signal range (0-190ohm or 240-33ohm).
- Intermittent Operation: Inspect all wiring for loose connections or damage.
