Important Safety Instructions

- Do not immerse the motor unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquids to protect against electrical hazards.

Setup

- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the jug and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
- Placement: Place the soup maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into the power socket on the soup maker, then into a standard 120V, 60Hz electrical outlet.

Follow these steps to prepare your desired soups or smoothies.

- Prepare Ingredients: Chop ingredients into small pieces (approximately 1-2 cm) to ensure even cooking and blending.
- Add Ingredients: Place all desired ingredients into the stainless steel jug. Ensure the liquid level is between the MIN (1.3L) and MAX (1.6L) fill lines. The overfill detection sensor will alert you if the maximum capacity is exceeded.
- Secure Lid: Place the lid onto the jug and twist it clockwise until it locks securely in place. Ensure the lid is properly aligned.
- Select Mode: Press the "MODE" button on the control panel to cycle through the available functions:
- Smooth: Heats and blends ingredients to a creamy consistency. Ideal for puréed soups.
- Chunky: Heats ingredients without continuous blending, preserving texture. Ideal for hearty soups.
- Blend: Blends ingredients without heating. Perfect for cold smoothies, milkshakes, or baby food.
- Clean: A short cycle for easy cleaning.
- Start Operation: Once the desired mode is selected, press the "START/STOP" button to begin. The appliance will automatically heat and/or blend according to the selected program. Cooking times typically range from 20-30 minutes for heated modes.
- Completion: The soup maker will beep when the program is complete. Carefully remove the lid by twisting counter-clockwise and lifting.
- Serve: Pour the freshly made soup or smoothie into serving bowls.

Maintenance and Cleaning

- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Clean Function: For quick cleaning, add 500ml of water and a drop of dish soap to the jug. Secure the lid and select the "CLEAN" mode. Press "START/STOP". After the cycle, rinse the jug thoroughly.
