1.1 Unpacking Your Tablet
Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Ensure all components are present:

1.2 Charging the Tablet
Before first use, fully charge your Fire HD 10 Kids tablet. Connect the USB-C cable to the tablet's USB-C port and the 9W power adapter to a wall outlet.
- Standard Charging: Fully charges in under 4 hours with the included 9W power adapter.
- Fast Charging: Fully charges in under 3 hours with a 15W adapter and USB Type-C to C cable (sold separately).
The battery life is up to 13 hours for reading, browsing, video, and music. Actual battery life varies based on settings and usage.

2. Operating Your Tablet
2.1 Power On/Off
To power on, press and hold the power button until the Amazon logo appears. To power off, press and hold the power button, then select "Power Off" on the screen.
2.2 Display and Navigation
The tablet features a 10.1-inch 1080p Full HD display (1920 x 1200 resolution, 224 ppi) with aluminosilicate glass for durability. Navigate using touch gestures: tap, swipe, pinch-to-zoom.
2.3 Wi-Fi Connectivity
The tablet supports dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) for connecting to public and private networks. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) is not supported. To connect:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Wireless & Bluetooth.
- Tap Wi-Fi and turn it on.
- Select your desired network and enter the password if required.
2.4 Storage and Expansion
The tablet comes with 32 GB of internal storage (approximately 24.0 GB available to the user). Storage can be expanded up to 1 TB using a microSD card (sold separately) inserted into the microSD slot.

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the tablet. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. The Kid-Proof Case can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Ensure your tablet's software is up to date for optimal performance and security. Updates are typically downloaded automatically when connected to Wi-Fi. You can manually check for updates in Settings > Device Options > System Updates.
3.3 Storage Management
Regularly manage your tablet's storage to prevent performance issues. Delete unused apps, photos, and videos, or transfer them to expandable microSD storage.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Tablet Not Responding
If the tablet is unresponsive, press and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds to force a restart.
4.2 Wi-Fi Connection Issues
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled in settings.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router.
- Forget the network and reconnect.
- Ensure you are within range of the Wi-Fi signal.
4.3 Battery Drains Quickly
