2. Operating Your Turntable

2.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the turntable, rotate the illuminated control knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks off.

2.2 Playing a Record

Follow these steps to play a vinyl record:

1. Select the appropriate speed (33 1/3 RPM or 45 RPM) using the speed selector switch located on the turntable. Use the 45 RPM adaptor for records with larger center holes.
2. Place the vinyl record on the silicone slipmat on the platter.
3. Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
4. Position the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
5. Slowly lower the cueing lever to gently place the stylus onto the record. The music will begin to play.

2.3 Volume Control

When streaming to Sonos, you can control the volume directly from the turntable's illuminated knob. For Bluetooth or wired connections, volume control is typically managed via the connected audio device.

3.1 Cleaning the Turntable

Regularly wipe the turntable's surface, platter, and dust cover with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

3.2 Stylus Care

Gently clean the stylus periodically using a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing from back to front. Replace the stylus when sound quality degrades or after approximately 1000 hours of playback to prevent damage to your records.
