5. Setup
5.1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove the machine from its packaging.
- Remove any protective films or packing materials.
- Verify all package contents are present as listed in Section 3.
5.2. Placement
Place the machine on a flat, stable, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for proper ventilation and operation, especially for placing and retrieving banknotes.
5.3. Power Connection
- Ensure the machine's main power switch (located at the rear) is in the "OFF" position.
- Connect the provided power cord to the power inlet on the rear of the machine.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Powering On/Off
- To power on, flip the main power switch (at the rear) to the "ON" position. The machine will perform a self-test.
- To power off, flip the main power switch to the "OFF" position.
6.2. Basic Counting
- Ensure the machine is powered on and in its default counting mode.
- Straighten the banknotes and remove any foreign objects like paper clips or rubber bands.
- Place the stack of banknotes neatly into the hopper. The machine will automatically start counting.
- The count will be displayed on the LCD. Once counting is complete, the machine will stop automatically.
- To clear the count, press the CLEAR button (if available, or it may clear automatically upon removing notes).
6.3. Fake Note Detection (UV & MG)
The LT-150 automatically detects counterfeit notes using Ultraviolet (UV) and Magnetic (MG) sensors during the counting process.
- If a suspicious note is detected, the machine will stop, and an error code or message will appear on the display.
- Remove the suspicious note from the stacker or the path as indicated by the machine.
- Press START to resume counting the remaining notes.
- It is recommended to manually inspect any notes flagged as suspicious.
6.4. Batching Function
The batching function allows the machine to stop counting once a preset number of notes has been reached.
- Press the BATCH button.
- Use the + and - buttons to set the desired batch quantity (e.g., 100, 50, 20).
- Place notes in the hopper. The machine will count and stop when the batch quantity is reached.
- Remove the batch and place more notes to continue counting subsequent batches.
- To exit batch mode, press the BATCH button again.
6.5. Adding Function
The adding function accumulates the total count of multiple batches or counting sessions.
- Press the ADD button. The ADD indicator on the display should light up.
- Place the first stack of notes in the hopper. The machine will count them.
- Place subsequent stacks of notes. The machine will add each count to the previous total.
- The total accumulated count will be displayed.
- To exit add mode, press the ADD button again.
6.6. Self-Examination Function
The machine performs a self-examination upon startup to ensure all systems are functioning correctly. If an error occurs during this process, an error code will be displayed. Refer to the Troubleshooting section for guidance.
7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will extend the lifespan and ensure the accuracy of your currency counting machine.
7.1. Cleaning Procedures
