2. Important Safety Information

4. Product Overview

The HelloBaby HB6240 system consists of a portable parent unit (monitor) and a camera unit. The monitor features a 4-inch IPS screen for clear viewing and intuitive controls. The camera offers pan, tilt, and zoom functions, along with automatic night vision.

5. Setup

The HelloBaby HB6240 is designed for easy setup and is ready to use out of the box with no WiFi required.

5.1 Powering On

1. Connect the small plug of the power adapter to the camera unit and the other end to a power outlet.
2. Connect the small plug of the power adapter to the monitor unit and the other end to a power outlet.
3. Press and hold the Power button on the monitor unit to turn it on. The monitor and camera will automatically connect.

5.2 Camera Placement

For optimal performance and safety, consider the following when placing the camera:

• Place the camera at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the crib or playpen.
• Ensure the camera has a clear line of sight to the area you wish to monitor.
• The monitor operates on a secure FHSS encrypted transmission up to 1000ft. Walls and other obstructions may reduce the range.

5.3 Installation (Optional Wall Mount)

The camera can be placed on a flat surface or wall-mounted using the included mounting kit.

6. Operating the Monitor

The HelloBaby HB6240 monitor offers a range of features to help you monitor your baby effectively.

6.1 Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ)

Use the directional buttons on the monitor unit to remotely adjust the camera's view. The camera rotates 318° horizontally (pan) and 120° vertically (tilt). You can also zoom in 2X for a closer look.

6.2 Two-Way Talk

Press and hold the microphone button on the monitor to speak to your baby through the camera's speaker. Release the button to hear your baby.

6.3 Night Vision

The camera is equipped with infrared night vision, automatically activating in low-light conditions to provide a clear black-and-white image of your baby.

6.4 ECO Mode (Voice-Activated)

In ECO mode, the monitor screen turns off to conserve battery. It will automatically light up and transmit sound when the camera detects noise above a certain level in the baby's room.

6.5 Lullabies
