Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the TYMO Hair Straightener Brush from its packaging. Ensure all components are present.
2. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (100-240V dual voltage compatible).
3. Placement: Place the brush on a heat-resistant surface before and during use.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

• Press and hold the power button located at the end of the handle to turn the brush ON.
• The LED display will illuminate, showing the current temperature.
• To turn OFF, press and hold the power button again. The device also features a 60-minute auto-off function for safety.

Temperature Settings:

The TYMO brush offers 16 temperature settings, ranging from 180°F to 450°F, suitable for all hair types. The T-sensor technology ensures consistent heat and protects against damage.

• Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature.
• Refer to the table below for recommended temperature ranges based on hair type:

Default temperature is 360°F upon startup. Start with a lower setting if you are unsure.

Hair Preparation:

• Ensure hair is clean, dry, and detangled before use.
• Apply a heat protectant spray evenly throughout your hair.

Usage Steps:

1. Divide your hair into manageable sections.
2. Take a section of hair and slowly brush from root to tip, ensuring the hair passes through the bristles.
3. Repeat on each section until desired straightness is achieved.
4. The anti-scald design allows you to get close to the roots without burning your scalp or hands.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Brush:

• Ensure the brush is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the surface of the brush.
• Remove any hair tangled in the bristles using a comb or your fingers.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Storage:

• Store the brush in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the device, as this can damage the cord.

Troubleshooting

• Brush not heating up: Ensure the device is properly plugged in and the power button is pressed and held until the display lights up. Check the power outlet.
• Hair not straightening effectively: Ensure hair is completely dry and detangled. Increase the temperature setting if your hair type requires higher heat. Brush slowly from root to tip.
• Device automatically turns off: This is likely the 60-minute auto-off safety feature. Simply turn the device back on if you wish to continue styling.
• Frizz after straightening: Ensure the ionic function is active (if applicable). Consider using a frizz-control product.
