  3. Position the headset so the display is clear and centered in your vision. The headset is designed for quick fitting without additional adjustment.
  4. If wearing glasses, the headset offers glassed support.

5.2 Adjusting IPD (Interpupillary Distance)

The DPVR E3-C features an IPD range of 54mm-74mm. Adjust the IPD settings within the DPVR Assistant software or your VR platform settings to match your eye distance for optimal visual clarity and comfort.

5.3 Using the Microphone and Audio

  • The headset has a built-in microphone for communication in virtual environments.
  • For audio output, connect headphones or earbuds to the 3.5mm external audio port on the headset.

5.4 Starting VR Experiences

  1. Ensure the headset is properly connected and recognized by your PC and DPVR Assistant.
  2. Launch your desired VR application or game through SteamVR or other compatible platforms.
  3. Follow the in-application instructions for navigation and interaction.

6. Maintenance and Care

6.1 Cleaning the Lenses

  • Use a dry, non-abrasive microfiber cloth specifically designed for optical lenses.
  • Gently wipe the lenses in a circular motion to remove dust and smudges.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners, alcohol, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the lenses.

6.2 Cleaning the Headset Body and Face Liner

  • The comfort kit includes a face liner and soft face foam. These can be gently cleaned with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and allowed to air dry completely before reattaching.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Display / Black Screen

  • Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the headset and your PC's graphics card.
  • Verify that your graphics card drivers are up to date.
  • Check if the headset is recognized by the DPVR Assistant software.
  • Restart your PC and the headset.

7.2 Headset Not Detected

  • Confirm the USB cable is properly connected to a functioning USB port on your PC.
  • Try a different USB port.
  • Reinstall the DPVR Assistant software.

7.3 Blurry Vision / Discomfort

  • Adjust the head strap for a comfortable and secure fit.
  • Clean the lenses as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Adjust the IPD settings in the software to match your interpupillary distance.
  • Take a break if you experience prolonged discomfort.
