2. Safety Instructions

• Do not immerse the bottom of the machine in liquid.
• If not used for more than six months, replace the batteries every 5 to 6 months or do not install them.
• The food bowl, storage bucket, and lid can be removed for cleaning.
• Ensure the feeder is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
• Keep out of reach of small children and pets when not in use or during maintenance.

5. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Install Food Bowl: Attach the food bowl to the main unit.
3. Insert Desiccant Bag: Place the desiccant bag into the designated slot in the lid to maintain food freshness.
4. Add Food: Fill the food storage container with dry pet food.
5. Power Connection: Connect the 5V power adapter to the feeder and a power outlet. For backup, install 3 D-size alkaline batteries (not included) in the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Unlocking the Screen

To unlock the screen, press and hold the (-) button for 5 seconds. The lock icon on the LCD will disappear.

6.2 Setting Current Time

1. Press and hold the (-) button for 3 seconds to unlock the screen.
2. Press the SET button for 3 seconds. The time icon "00:00" will blink in the hour field.
3. Press the (+)/(-) buttons to scroll through numbers and set the hour.
4. Press the SET button to move to the minute field, then set the minutes similarly.

6.3 Setting Meals Per Day

1. After the current time is set, press the SET button. The LCD display will show the current time and blink the Meal number.
2. Press the (+)/(-) buttons to set 1-4 meals per day.

6.4 Setting Meal Time and Portions

1. After setting the meal number, press the SET button. The LCD display will blink the current meal number.
2. Press the SET button, and the hour field of the Time icon will blink. Use (+)/(-) buttons to set the hour.
3. Press the SET button again to move to the minute field, and set the minutes similarly.
4. Press the SET button again, and the Portion number will blink. Use (+)/(-) buttons to set the feeding portion (up to 12 dry food per meal).
5. Repeat this process for meals 2nd to 4th if needed.

6.5 Custom Voice Recording

You can record a 10-second voice message to call your pet at meal times:

1. Press and hold the Record button (microphone icon) for 3 seconds until you hear a "di" sound. This indicates recording has started.
2. Record your voice message (less than 10 seconds).
3. Release the button when finished. You will hear "didi" indicating the recording is saved.
4. To check your recording, press the Record button once.
5. To change the recording, simply repeat the process.

6.6 Manual Feeding

You can manually dispense food at any time:

• First, unlock the screen by pressing and holding the (-) button for 5 seconds.
• Press the (+) button once to dispense one portion of food. You can press it multiple times for additional portions.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: The food bowl, storage bucket, and lid are removable for easy cleaning. Wash them with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reassembling.
• Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the bottom of the machine in liquid.
• Desiccant Bag: Replace the desiccant bag periodically (e.g., every 1-2 months) to ensure optimal food freshness.

8. Troubleshooting

• Feeder not dispensing food:
  • Check if the power adapter is securely plugged in or if batteries are installed and have sufficient charge.
  • Ensure the food container is not empty.
  • Verify that the food outlet is not clogged.
  • Check if the screen is unlocked and the feeding schedule is correctly set.
• Screen is locked: Press and hold the (-) button for 5 seconds to unlock.
• Settings lost after power outage: The feeder has a memory function. If settings are lost, ensure both power adapter and backup batteries are functioning correctly.
• Food not fresh: Ensure the desiccant bag is properly placed and replaced regularly. Check that the lid is securely locked.
