4.1 Display Elements

5.2 Setting Time and Day

  1. Press and hold the Set button for approximately 3 seconds until the time display flashes.

  3. Repeat for minutes and then for the day of the week (e.g., MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
  4. Press OK to exit the time/day setting mode.

5.3 Connecting an Appliance

Once the thermostat is set up, you can connect your heating or cooling appliance:

  1. Ensure the appliance is switched off.
  2. Plug your heating or cooling appliance into the socket on the front of the thermostat plug.
  3. Switch on your appliance (if it has its own power switch). The thermostat will now control its power supply based on your settings.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Manual Mode

In manual mode, you can set a desired temperature, and the thermostat will maintain it until changed.

  1. Press the Power (Ⓞ) button to switch between modes until 'MANUAL' or a similar indicator appears (if applicable).
  2. Press the Set button once. The 'SET' temperature will flash.
  3. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to adjust the target temperature in 0.5°C increments (range: 1°C to 70°C).
  4. Press OK to confirm the setting. The thermostat will now activate the connected appliance to reach and maintain this temperature.

6.2 Automatic (Programmable) Mode

The automatic mode allows you to set a weekly schedule with different temperature settings for various times of the day.

  1. Press the Power (Ⓞ) button to switch to 'AUTO' mode.
  2. Press and hold the Set button for approximately 5 seconds to enter programming mode for the weekly schedule. The display will show the first programming period for Monday.
  3. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to set the start time and target temperature for each period. Press OK to confirm each setting and move to the next.
  4. The thermostat supports:
    • Monday to Friday: 6 switching times/temperature settings per day.
    • Saturday and Sunday: 2 switching times/temperature settings per day.
  5. After setting all desired periods, press Set again to exit programming mode. The thermostat will now operate according to your schedule.

6.3 Anti-Frost Function

This function helps prevent rooms from freezing during cold periods.

  • The thermostat automatically activates the connected heating appliance if the ambient temperature drops below 2°C, regardless of the current programmed or manual settings.
  • This function is always active to protect against frost damage.

6.4 Child Lock

To prevent accidental changes to settings:

  1. To activate the child lock, press and hold the OK button for approximately 3 seconds. A lock icon will appear on the display.
  2. To deactivate, press and hold the OK button again for approximately 3 seconds. The lock icon will disappear.

7. Maintenance

The revolt Digital Thermostat Plug requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the device from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or wet cloths, as these can damage the device or cause electric shock.
