3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge all batteries. The Saker polisher is powered by a rechargeable 12V 2000mAh lithium battery. Charging is simple and economical. The charger is designed for fast charging, typically taking approximately 2 hours for a full charge.

3.2. Attaching Pads and Bonnets

The polisher features a hook and loop surface for quick and easy pad changes. To attach a pad, align it with the backing plate and press firmly. For bonnets, an elastic band simplifies their application over the pad. Ensure the pad or bonnet is securely attached before operating the polisher.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Powering On and Speed Adjustment

To power on the polisher, slide the switch located on the handle to the 'ON' position. The polisher offers 6 adjustable speeds, controlled by the speed shift dial. The LED light display indicates the power capacity of the cordless car polisher: green for sufficient power, orange for half power, and red for low battery requiring a charge.

• Speed 1-2: Ideal for waxing and light buffering.
• Speed 3-4: Suitable for cleaning and general polishing.
• Speed 5-6: Recommended for removing defects and oxidation, or for paint polishing.

4.2. Application Techniques

Apply an even layer of wax, polish, or compound to the pad or directly to the surface. Start the polisher at a low speed and spread the product evenly before increasing the speed as needed. Maintain consistent pressure and move the polisher in overlapping passes to ensure uniform coverage. The support plate, approximately 6 inches (14.5 cm) in diameter, provides an optimal working contact area.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

After each use, remove the pad/bonnet and clean it according to its material type. Wipe down the polisher unit with a clean, damp cloth to remove any residue. Do not immerse the polisher in water. Ensure the vents are clear of debris to maintain effective heat dissipation.

5.2. Storage

Store the polisher and its accessories in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure batteries are charged before long-term storage to prolong their lifespan.
