5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Your Watch

Regularly clean your COROS APEX 2 Pro to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the watch body and strap. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water and thorough drying.

Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the watch's materials and finish.

5.2 Charging Best Practices

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the watch frequently. Charge the watch using only the provided COROS charging cable. Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your COROS APEX 2 Pro, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Watch Not Turning On: Ensure the watch is fully charged. Connect it to the charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power it on.
  • Pairing Issues: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the watch. Restart both devices and try pairing again. Ensure the COROS app is updated to the latest version.
  • GPS Inaccuracy: Ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky. Allow the watch sufficient time to acquire a GPS signal before starting an activity.
  • Heart Rate Sensor Issues: Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist, not too tight or too loose. Clean the sensor area on the back of the watch.
  • Software Glitches: Perform a soft reset by holding down the digital dial until the COROS logo appears. If the issue persists, a factory reset (via the COROS app or watch settings) may be necessary, but note that this will erase all data on the watch.
