Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your Baton3 Pro flashlight. Use the provided MCC3 USB magnetic charging cable. Attach the magnetic end of the cable to the tail cap of the flashlight. The indicator light on the charging cable will turn red while charging and green when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 3.5 hours.

Unlocking the Flashlight

The flashlight has a lock mode set by default for safety during shipping. To unlock, press and hold the side switch for more than 1 second until the light briefly flashes. To re-lock, press and hold the side switch for more than 2 seconds. The flashlight will also auto-lock if the battery level drops below 5% (indicated by a blinking red light).

Using the L-Shape Stand

The included L-shape stand is made of magnetic stainless steel with strong adhesive. It provides a convenient way to store your Baton3 Pro, ensuring it's always easy to find. The curved side of the stand is designed to prevent injury if accidentally bumped. The stand is also compatible with other Olight products that have similarly sized magnetic tail caps.

Operation

Basic Functions

Power On/Off: Single press the side switch to turn the flashlight on or off.
Change Brightness Levels: When the flashlight is on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through Low, Medium, and High modes. Release the switch to select the desired mode.
Moonlight Mode: When the flashlight is off, press and hold the side switch for approximately 1 second to activate Moonlight mode.
Turbo Mode: Double-press the side switch quickly to activate Turbo mode. Double-press again to return to the previous brightness level.
Strobe Mode: Triple-press the side switch quickly to activate Strobe mode. Single press to exit.

Battery Level Indicator

The indicator light on the side switch provides real-time battery status:

Green: Battery power is greater than 60%.
Orange: Battery power is between 10% and 60%.
Red: Battery power is between 5% and 10%.
Blinking Red: Battery power is less than 5%. Recharge immediately.

Color Temperature Options

The Baton3 Pro is available in two color temperature options: Cool White (5700K~6700K) for enhanced concentration and Neutral White (4000K~5200K) for a natural and balanced light. Select the option that best suits your needs.

Two-Way Clip

The wider and longer two-way clip allows the flashlight to be securely carried in your pocket or backpack. Made of thicker steel, it offers greater durability and resistance to deformation, ensuring your flashlight stays in place.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your OLIGHT Baton3 Pro, follow these maintenance guidelines:

Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Threads and O-rings: Periodically lubricate the threads and O-rings with silicone grease to maintain water resistance.
Battery Care: If storing the flashlight for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and remove it from the device if possible (though the Baton3 Pro battery is integrated, ensure it's not fully depleted during long storage). Recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.
Avoid Impact: While durable, avoid dropping the flashlight or subjecting it to severe impacts, which could damage internal components.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Baton3 Pro, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Flashlight does not turn on.	Battery is depleted or in lockout mode.	Charge the battery. Unlock the flashlight by pressing and holding the side switch for >1 second.
Light output is dim or flickers.	Low battery or dirty contacts.	Recharge the battery. Clean the magnetic tail cap and charging cable contacts with a clean cloth.
Flashlight gets hot quickly.	Operating in Turbo or High mode for extended periods.	This is normal for high-output flashlights. Reduce brightness level if discomfort occurs. The flashlight has thermal management to prevent overheating.
Magnetic charging not working.	Dirty contacts or cable not properly connected.	Ensure the MCC3 cable is securely attached and contacts are clean. Try a different USB power source.
