1. Introduction

The IMALENT SR16 is a high-performance rechargeable LED flashlight designed for demanding outdoor activities, search and rescue operations, and emergency situations. It features an upgraded XHP50.3 HI LED system, delivering an ultra-bright output of up to 55,000 lumens and a long beam distance of up to 1715 meters. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your SR16 flashlight.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Battery

The IMALENT SR16 features a built-in rechargeable battery pack. To charge the flashlight:

1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the flashlight's charging port.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the Type-C charger and plug it into a power outlet.
3. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 1 hour.

A full charge can provide up to 98 hours of working time on the lowest setting.

3.2 Attaching/Removing the Handle

The SR16 comes with a removable metal handle for comfortable grip and portability. To attach or remove the handle:

1. Locate the handle and the screw points on the flashlight body.
2. Align the handle with the screw holes.
3. Use the provided hexagonal spanner and screw to securely fasten the handle.
4. To remove, simply reverse the process.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power switch button once to turn the flashlight on. Press it again to turn it off.

4.2 Brightness Levels

When the flashlight is on, press the power switch button to cycle through the following brightness modes:

• 50 Lumens
• 1200 Lumens
• 2800 Lumens
• 4200 Lumens
• 11000 Lumens
• 23000 Lumens

4.3 Turbo Mode

From any mode, double-press the power switch button to activate Turbo mode, which provides the maximum output of 55,000 lumens. Double-press again to return to the previous mode.

4.4 Strobe Mode

From any mode, triple-press the power switch button to activate Strobe mode. Press once to exit Strobe mode.

4.5 Lockout Function

To prevent accidental activation, the SR16 features a lockout function. Consult the included operation instructions booklet for specific steps on how to engage and disengage this feature.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or internal components. Keep the lens clean for optimal light output.

5.2 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, charge the flashlight regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery. Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

5.3 O-ring Maintenance

Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Lubricate them with silicone grease to maintain the flashlight's IP56 waterproof rating. Replace damaged O-rings with the provided spares.

5.4 Cooling System

The SR16 is equipped with efficient cooling fans for heat dissipation. Ensure the fan vents are clear of obstructions to maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating during prolonged high-output use.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your IMALENT SR16 flashlight, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Flashlight Not Turning On:
  Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Check if the flashlight is in lockout mode and disengage it if necessary. Verify that all connections are secure.
• Charging Issues:
  Confirm the Type-C cable and charger are properly connected and functional. Try using a different compatible Type-C cable and charger. Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris.
• Overheating:
  The SR16 generates significant heat at higher lumen outputs. This is normal. The flashlight has built-in thermal regulation to prevent damage. If it feels excessively hot, reduce the brightness level. Ensure cooling fan vents are not blocked.
• Reduced Brightness or Runtime:
  This may indicate a low battery charge. Recharge the flashlight fully. If the issue persists after charging, the battery may be nearing the end of its lifespan or require service.
