The BT30-1 headset consists of two earpieces, a flexible microphone, and a control unit. The control unit houses the power button, volume controls, and the charging interface.

Control Unit Functions:

  • Power ON/OFF / Play/Pause Button: Long press to power on/off. Short press to play/pause music or answer/end calls.
  • Volume + / Charging Interface: Short press to increase volume. Also serves as the charging port.
  • Volume - / Microphone Hole: Short press to decrease volume. The microphone is located near this button.

Setup

1. Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging interface on the control unit and to a USB power source. The charging time is approximately 2 hours for a full charge, providing up to 60 hours of playing time and 500 hours of standby time.

2. Installation in a Helmet

The BT30-1 headset is designed for easy installation in various helmet types.

  1. Clean the inner surface of your helmet where the earpieces will be placed.
  2. Attach the Velcro pads to the back of the earpieces.
  3. Carefully position the earpieces inside the helmet, ensuring they are aligned with your ears for optimal sound.
  4. Route the microphone arm towards your mouth, ensuring it is close enough for clear voice pickup but does not obstruct your vision or comfort.
  5. Secure the control unit to a convenient location on the helmet exterior or interior using the adhesive backing or clip (if provided).

3. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

The headset can be paired with up to two mobile devices simultaneously.

  1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "BT30-1" from the list of devices.
  5. Once paired, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.
  6. To pair a second device, repeat steps 1-5. The headset will automatically connect to previously paired devices when powered on.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the blue indicator light flashes.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the red indicator light flashes before turning off.

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Power ON/OFF button.
  • Next Track: Long press the Volume + button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the Volume - button.

Call Management

  • Answer Call: Short press the Power ON/OFF button when an incoming call is received. The headset supports automatic answering.
  • End Call: Short press the Power ON/OFF button during a call.
  • Reject Call: Long press the Power ON/OFF button when an incoming call is received.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the Power ON/OFF button.

Volume Control

  • Increase Volume: Short press the Volume + button.
  • Decrease Volume: Short press the Volume - button.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your headset.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Resistance: The headset is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can withstand splashes and rain. However, avoid submerging it in water. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
