Applications of 365nm UV Light
The Alonefire SV64 utilizes a 365nm UV LED, which is ideal for various specific detection tasks:
- Currency and Document Verification: Detects security features on banknotes, passports, and other official documents.
- Pet Urine Detection: Reveals dried pet stains on carpets, rugs, and furniture that are invisible to the naked eye.
- Mineral and Gemstone Identification: Causes certain minerals and gemstones to fluoresce, aiding in identification.
- Scorpion Detection: Scorpions glow brightly under 365nm UV light.
- Leak Detection: Can be used with UV dyes to detect leaks in automotive, HVAC, and industrial systems.
Note: This flashlight is not suitable for resin curing due to its lower power output, which would require a significantly longer curing time.
