  1. Place the folded stroller on a flat surface.
  2. Locate the folding mechanism release, typically on the handlebar or side of the frame.
  3. Release the latch and lift the handlebar firmly until the frame clicks into its fully open position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged.

3.2 Attaching the Wheels

  1. Insert the rear wheels into their respective axles on the stroller frame until they click securely into place.

3.3 Attaching the Seat Unit

  1. Align the seat unit's connectors with the corresponding slots on the stroller frame.
  2. Push the seat down firmly until it clicks into place. Verify that the seat is securely attached by gently pulling upwards.
  3. The seat can be attached in both forward-facing and parent-facing positions.

3.4 Harness Adjustment

The 5-point harness system can be adjusted to fit your child securely. Refer to the seat unit for specific strap adjustment points and buckle operation.

4. Operating the Stroller

4.1 Reversible Seat and Recline

The Veloce stroller features a reversible seat, allowing your child to face you or the world. To reverse the seat, disengage the seat from the frame, rotate it, and re-attach. The seat offers multiple recline positions, including a near-flat recline suitable for newborns. Adjust the recline using the lever located on the back of the seat.

4.2 Folding and Unfolding

The Veloce stroller is designed for a compact one-hand fold. Locate the central control on the handle. Press the release button and push down or pull up to fold/unfold the stroller. The stroller folds compactly with the seat attached in both forward and rear positions, and stands alone when folded.

4.3 Brake System

The user-friendly brake system is located near the rear wheels. Press the brake pedal down to engage the brake and lift it up to release. Always engage the brake when the stroller is stationary.

4.4 Wheel Adjustment

The front wheels can be adjusted from locked to swiveling mode. This allows for greater maneuverability in tight spaces (swiveling) or stability on uneven terrain (locked). Refer to the wheel assembly for the specific locking mechanism.

4.5 Handlebar Adjustment

The eco-leather handlebar can be adjusted to multiple heights to accommodate parents of different statures. This also allows for a higher handle position to save space, for example, in an elevator.

4.6 Travel System Compatibility

The Veloce stroller is compatible with Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 4-35 Lounge or Primo Viaggio 4-35 Nido infant car seats. With the purchase of a separate "Car Seat Adapter," it can also be compatible with most Maxi Cosi style car seats. Follow the instructions provided with the car seat and adapter for secure attachment.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Fabric Components: Clean fabric parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Allow to air dry completely before folding or storing.
  • Frame and Plastic Parts: Wipe down the frame and plastic components with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  • Wheels: Regularly clean debris from the wheels and axles.

5.2 Storage

Store the stroller in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the stroller is clean and dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Stroller is Difficult to Steer or Wheels are Stiff

  • Check Wheel Installation: Ensure all wheels are correctly and securely installed, clicking into place. Reinstall if necessary.
  • Clear Debris: Remove any dirt, hair, or debris that may be caught in the wheel mechanisms or axles.
  • Lubrication: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the wheel axles if they remain stiff after cleaning.
  • Front Wheel Lock: Verify that the front wheels are not in the locked position if you intend for them to swivel.

6.2 Stroller Does Not Fold or Unfold Smoothly

  • Clear Obstructions: Ensure no items (e.g., blankets, toys) are obstructing the folding mechanism.
  • Engage Release: Confirm that the one-hand folding release mechanism on the handle is fully engaged during the folding/unfolding process.

6.3 Canopy Appears Flimsy or Detaches

  • Check Attachment Points: Ensure the canopy is securely clipped to the frame at all designated attachment points. Re-attach if loose.
