Setup

1. Assembling the Keyboard Stand

1. Unfold the keyboard stand by pulling the legs apart until they lock into place.
2. Adjust the height of the stand using the quick-release mechanism to a comfortable playing position. Ensure the stand is stable.
3. Place the keyboard securely on the stand. Use the high-quality support straps to fasten the keyboard to the stand, preventing accidental movement.

2. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the keyboard. Plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet. The keyboard can also be powered by batteries (not included) for portable use.

3. Connecting Headphones

For private practice, plug the included headphones into the 3.5mm headphone output jack located on the rear of the keyboard. The internal speakers will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

4. Attaching the Music Sheet Stand

Slide the music sheet stand into the designated slot on top of the keyboard. This stand can hold sheet music, a tablet, or a smartphone.

5. Applying Keynote Stickers

For learning assistance, carefully apply the keynote stickers to the corresponding keys on the keyboard. These stickers are designed to be easily removable without leaving residue.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the POWER button located on the left side of the control panel to turn the keyboard on or off. The backlit LED display will illuminate.

2. Adjusting Volume

Use the VOLUME + and - buttons to increase or decrease the overall sound output.

3. Selecting Tones (Instrument Voices)

The keyboard features 500 instrument tones. To select a tone:

• Press the TONE button.
• Enter the two or three-digit number corresponding to the desired tone using the numeric keypad. Refer to the tone list printed on the keyboard's control panel for available options.
• Alternatively, use the + and - buttons in the TONE section to cycle through tones.

4. Selecting Rhythms (Accompaniment Styles)

The keyboard includes 350 accompaniment styles. To select a rhythm:

• Press the RHYTHM button.
• Enter the two or three-digit number corresponding to the desired rhythm using the numeric keypad. Refer to the rhythm list printed on the keyboard's control panel.
• Alternatively, use the + and - buttons in the RHYTHM section to cycle through rhythms.
• Press START/STOP to begin or end the rhythm.

5. Playing Demo Songs

The keyboard has 50 demo songs. To play a demo song:

• Press the DEMO button.
• Use the numeric keypad or + and - buttons to select a specific demo song.
• Press PLAY to start the selected demo song.

6. Recording and Playback

The keyboard allows you to record your performances:

• Press the REC button to start recording. The REC indicator will light up.
• Play your desired piece.
• Press PLAY to stop recording and play back your recorded performance.

7. Sustain and Vibrato Functions

• Press the SUSTAIN button to add a lingering effect to notes. Press again to deactivate.
• Press the VIBRATO button to add a slight pitch modulation effect to notes. Press again to deactivate.

8. Simply Piano App Integration

The keyboard is compatible with the Simply Piano app. Download the app on your tablet or smartphone and follow the in-app instructions to connect your keyboard. The app offers 30 free lessons and provides real-time feedback on your playing.

Cleaning

• Always disconnect the power adapter before cleaning.
