1. Product Overview

2.2 Physical Installation
The ER8411 router can be placed on a desktop or mounted in a standard 19-inch rack using the provided kit. Ensure adequate ventilation around the device.

2.3 Connecting the Router
- Power Connection: Connect the provided power cord to the router's power input and then to a power outlet.
- WAN Connection: Connect your internet service provider's modem or main network line to one of the WAN ports (e.g., 10G SFP+ WAN, 10G SFP+ WAN/LAN, or Gigabit RJ45 WAN/LAN).
- LAN Connection: Connect your local network devices (computers, switches, access points) to the available LAN ports.
- USB Ports: The two USB 3.0 ports can be used for LTE backup (one port supports this function) or other compatible USB devices.
