3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Tools Required:
- Hex key set
- Torque wrench
- Star nut setting tool (if steerer tube is uncut)
- Crown race setting tool
- Cable cutters
- Grease
3.2 Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Steerer Tube: If the steerer tube is too long for your frame, measure carefully and cut it to the appropriate length, allowing for headset stack height and stem. Deburr the edges. Install the star nut into the steerer tube.
- Install Crown Race: Press the crown race onto the base of the steerer tube until it seats firmly against the fork crown.
- Install Fork into Frame: Insert the steerer tube through the head tube of your bicycle frame. Install the headset bearings, spacers, and stem according to your headset manufacturer's instructions.
- Secure Stem: Tighten the top cap bolt to preload the headset bearings, then align the stem with the front wheel and tighten the stem clamp bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque.
- Install Front Wheel: Mount your front wheel into the fork dropouts. Ensure the quick release or thru-axle is properly secured.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Remote Lockout Function:
The remote lockout system allows you to quickly switch the fork's suspension between an active (open) and locked (closed) position directly from your handlebar.
- Engage Lockout: Press the lever on your handlebar to engage the lockout. This will stiffen the fork, reducing suspension movement. This is useful for climbing or riding on smooth surfaces to improve pedaling efficiency.
- Disengage Lockout: Press the release button or lever (depending on your specific remote design) to disengage the lockout. The fork will return to its active suspension state, absorbing bumps and impacts. This is ideal for descending or riding on rough terrain.
Warning: Do not attempt to engage or disengage the lockout while riding at high speed or in technical terrain, as this could lead to loss of control.

5. Maintenance

5.1 After Each Ride:
