2. Setup

2.1 Initial Fingerprint Registration (Administrator)

Upon receiving your Fingerprint Storage Box, it is in factory status, meaning any fingerprint can unlock the box. To secure your box, you need to register one fingerprint successfully before using it. This first registered fingerprint will be the administrator's fingerprint.

1. Open the box.
2. Press and hold the fingerprint pad until the light turns blue.
3. Place your chosen finger on the fingerprint pad. Lift and place your finger repeatedly, ensuring different angles of your finger are scanned. The light will flash green upon successful registration.
4. Once the light stops flashing and remains green, your first fingerprint is successfully registered.

2.2 Registering Additional Fingerprints

The box can store up to 50 fingerprints. The first and second registered fingerprints are considered administrator fingerprints, which can be used to add more fingerprints or delete existing ones.

1. With the box open, press and hold the fingerprint pad until the light turns blue.
2. Place an already registered administrator fingerprint on the pad. The light will flash green.
3. Immediately place the new finger you wish to register on the pad. Lift and place repeatedly until the light flashes green, indicating successful registration.
4. Repeat for up to 50 fingerprints.

3. Operating the Storage Box

3.1 Unlocking with Fingerprint

To unlock the box using a registered fingerprint:

1. Place a registered fingerprint on the fingerprint pad.
2. The light will turn green, and the box will unlock automatically.

3.2 Unlocking with Morse Code (Emergency Unlock)

The box also supports a 12-digit Morse code for emergency unlocking. This code consists of '0' (short press) and '1' (long press) on the fingerprint pad.

1. Touch the fingerprint reader surface.
2. Short press (input '0') or long press (input '1') the fingerprint pad to enter your 12-digit Morse code.
3. After entering the correct code, the box will unlock.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Charging the Device

The storage box is equipped with a built-in 280mAh lithium battery. When the battery power is less than 10%, the red indicator will flash when the padlock is unlocked.

1. Connect a USB Type-C cable (included) to the charging port on the side of the box.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a suitable USB power supply (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. A full charge provides over 2000 unlocks and 180 days of standby time.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Fingerprint Not Recognized

• Ensure your finger is clean and dry.
• Try placing your finger on the pad at different angles, similar to how it was registered.
• If multiple fingerprints are registered, try another registered finger.
• If the issue persists, try re-registering your fingerprint (refer to Section 2.2).

6.2 Unable to Unlock

• Check the battery level. If the red indicator flashes, the battery is low and needs charging. Connect the USB Type-C cable to temporarily supply power and then use your fingerprint or Morse code to unlock.
• If you have forgotten your Morse code, refer to the detailed instructions provided in the original packaging for reset procedures.
