Operating your Cyrusher XF900 is intuitive, but understanding its features will enhance your ride.
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on the bike, ensure the battery is installed and locked. Press and hold the power button on the 3.7" LCD Smart Display.
- To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.
5.2 Using the LCD Smart Display

5.3 Pedal Assist System (PAS)
The XF900 features a Pedal Assist system. As you pedal, the motor provides assistance based on the selected assist level.
- Increase/Decrease Assist: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel to adjust the level of motor assistance. Higher levels provide more power.
- Throttle: The bike may also include a thumb throttle for on-demand power without pedaling. Use with caution and according to local regulations.
5.4 Shifting Gears
The SHIMANO 7-Speed drivetrain allows you to adapt to different terrains and inclines.
- Use the trigger shifter on the handlebar to change gears.
- Shift to a lower gear (larger cog on the rear) for climbing hills.
- Shift to a higher gear (smaller cog on the rear) for flat terrain and higher speeds.
- Always pedal lightly when shifting to ensure smooth transitions and prevent damage to the drivetrain.
5.5 Braking
The XF900 is equipped with reliable disc brakes.
- Apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously for effective and controlled stopping.
- Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially with the front brake, as this can lead to loss of control.
- Regularly check brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers are responsive.
5.6 Charging the Battery
The 48V 17Ah battery has a charge time of approximately 5-7 hours.
- Connect the charger to the charging port on the bike (direct charging) or remove the battery to charge it separately.
- Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
- The charger indicator light will typically change color when charging is complete.
- Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect the charger once fully charged.
- Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Cyrusher XF900.
6.1 Routine Checks (Before Each Ride)
- Tires: Check tire pressure and inspect for any cuts or punctures.
- Brakes: Ensure brake levers are firm and responsive, and brake pads are not excessively worn.
- Bolts and Fasteners: Verify that all critical bolts (wheels, handlebars, seat post, crank arms) are tight.
- Battery: Confirm the battery is securely seated and locked.
- Cables: Check for any frayed or damaged cables.
6.2 Cleaning
Clean your e-bike regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
6.3 Chain Lubrication
Lubricate the chain periodically, especially after riding in wet conditions or after cleaning. Use a bicycle-specific chain lubricant.
6.4 Battery Care
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to 50-70% and recharge every 1-2 months to prevent deep discharge.
- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
