2. Important Safety Information

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the induction cooktop from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the cooktop on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 10 cm clearance from walls or other objects). Do not place it on metal surfaces.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 220V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and can support the 2000W power requirement of the cooktop.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the glass surface with a damp cloth.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Place compatible cookware (see section 5.4) on the center of the induction zone. Press the "On/Off" button to turn on the cooktop. The display will light up.
  2. Select Power or Temperature Mode: The cooktop typically defaults to a power setting. Use the "Power/Temp" button to switch between power (W) and temperature (°C) modes.
  3. Adjust Power/Temperature: Use the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons to adjust the power level (300W to 2000W) or temperature setting (60°C to 240°C). There are 10 levels for both power and temperature.
  4. Set Timer: Press the "Timer" button. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrow buttons to set the desired cooking time, up to 3 hours. The cooktop will automatically turn off once the timer expires.
  5. Safety Lock: Press and hold the "Lock" button for a few seconds to activate the safety lock. This prevents accidental changes to settings. To unlock, press and hold the "Lock" button again.
  6. Power Off: After cooking, press the "On/Off" button to turn off the cooktop. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool down the internal components.

The cooktop offers precise control over your cooking with 10 power levels and 10 temperature settings.

5.2 Cookware Compatibility

Only use cookware that is compatible with induction cooking. Compatible cookware must have a magnetic base.

  • Compatible: Magnetic stainless steel pans, cast iron pans, enameled cast iron cookware.
  • Incompatible: Aluminum, copper, ceramic, glass cookware (unless specifically designed for induction).

To test compatibility, place a magnet on the bottom of the cookware. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is suitable for induction.

6. Maintenance

  1. Cleaning the Surface: Allow the cooktop to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the black crystal glass surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for glass cooktops.
  2. Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the glass surface.
  3. Cleaning the Body: Wipe the exterior body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the cooktop in water or spray water directly onto it.
  4. Storage: When not in use, ensure the cooktop is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Cooktop does not turn on. No power supply; power cord not plugged in; power outage. Check power cord connection; check household circuit breaker; try another outlet.
Cooktop turns off automatically. Overheat protection activated; no cookware detected; incompatible cookware. Allow unit to cool; ensure compatible cookware is centered on the cooking zone.
Cookware is not heating. Cookware is not induction compatible; cookware is too small or too large for the zone. Use induction-compatible cookware; ensure cookware base covers at least 80% of the cooking zone.
