Setup Guide
1. Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present and undamaged. The package should include the printer main body, filament holder, power adapter, USB cable, TF card, and a small amount of PLA filament.
2. Assembly
The Easythreed X2 is designed for quick and easy assembly, typically in two steps:
- Attach the gantry to the base of the printer. Ensure it is securely fastened with the provided screws.
- Mount the filament holder onto the designated slot on the side of the printer.
3. Power Connection
Connect the power adapter to the printer's power input port and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet (EU PLUG). The printer will power on, and the display screen will illuminate.
4. Software Installation (Easyware)
The printer comes with its own slicing software, Easyware, on the provided TF card. Insert the TF card into your computer and install the software. Easyware is compatible with Windows XP/7/8/10 (32-bit/64-bit) and supports MAC (minimum version 10.13).

Operating Instructions
1. Loading Filament
- Place the PLA filament spool onto the filament holder.
- Gently feed the end of the filament into the extruder's input hole.
- On the printer's control panel, use the '+' button to feed the filament until it comes out of the nozzle.

2. Preparing a Model for Printing
- Open the Easyware slicing software on your computer.
- Import your 3D model file (STL format).
- Adjust print settings such as layer thickness (0.1-0.3mm), infill, and supports as needed.
- Slice the model. The software will convert the STL file into a .gcode file, which the printer understands.
- Save the .gcode file onto the TF card.
3. Starting a Print
- Insert the TF card with the .gcode file into the printer's TF card slot.
- On the printer's display, navigate to the print menu and select your desired .gcode file.
- Press the triangle button to start the print. The printer will automatically heat the extruder to the set temperature (180-230℃) and begin printing.

4. Pausing/Resuming/Stopping a Print
During printing, you can use the triangle button to pause or resume the print. To stop a print, press and hold the triangle button, or navigate through the menu options.
5. Removing a Print
Once the print is complete and the nozzle has cooled, gently remove the magnetic print plate from the printer. Flex the plate to easily detach the printed model. Avoid using sharp tools that could damage the print surface.

Maintenance
1. Nozzle Cleaning
Regularly inspect the nozzle for any filament residue or clogs. Use a small brush or needle to gently clean the nozzle when it is heated. Always exercise caution to avoid burns.
2. Print Plate Care
Keep the magnetic print plate clean. Wipe it with a soft cloth after each print to remove any adhesive or filament debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
3. General Cleaning
Periodically wipe down the printer's exterior with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Ensure no dust accumulates on moving parts or electronic components.
Troubleshooting
- Filament Not Extruding:
- Check if the nozzle is clogged. Clean it as described in the Maintenance section.
- Ensure the extruder temperature is set correctly (180-230℃ for PLA).
- Verify that the filament is properly loaded and not tangled.
- Print Not Sticking to Bed:
- Ensure the print plate is clean and free of grease or dust.
- Verify that the first layer is extruding properly and adhering to the plate.
- Poor Print Quality:
- Check filament quality and ensure it is dry.
- Adjust print speed (10-40mm/s) and layer thickness (0.1-0.3mm) in your slicing software.
- Ensure the printer is on a stable, level surface.
- Printer Not Responding:
- Check power connection.
- Restart the printer.
- Ensure the TF card is inserted correctly and the .gcode file is valid.
