Introduction

The RENPHO Smart Food Scale is designed to assist with precise food measurement and nutritional tracking. It integrates with the Renpho Health app to provide detailed nutritional analysis, making it suitable for various dietary needs including weight loss, macro tracking, Keto, and calorie-controlled cooking. This manual provides instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your food scale.

Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the 3 AAA batteries (included) according to the polarity indicators. Close the compartment securely.
  2. App Download: Download the 'Renpho Health' app from your device's app store (available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store). You can also scan the QR code below to download the app.

  1. Pairing with App: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your RENPHO Smart Food Scale via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.

Operating Instructions

Basic Weighing

  1. Power On: Place the scale on a flat, hard surface. Press the 'U-TARE' button to turn on the scale.
  2. Unit Conversion: Press the 'UNIT' button to cycle through the available units: ounces (oz), pounds and ounces (lb:oz), grams (g), milliliters (ml), and fluid ounces (fl.oz). The selected unit will be displayed on the LCD.

  1. Tare Function: To weigh items in a container, first place the empty container on the scale. Press the 'U-TARE' button to zero out the weight of the container. Then, add your food item to the container to measure its net weight.

The Renpho Health app enhances the functionality of your food scale by providing advanced nutritional tracking and specialized modes.

  • Nutritional Analysis: The app offers a detailed nutritional breakdown of your food, including 25 nutrition facts. It utilizes an extensive USDA food database, allowing you to track calories, macros, and other nutrients.
