2. Important Safety Information
- Voltage Compatibility: The 44V rating often refers to the vacuum's battery voltage, NOT the charger's output voltage. This adapter provides 50.4V DC output, which is specifically designed for 44V Li-ion battery packs. Always verify compatibility with your specific vacuum model before use.
- Battery Condition: Rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan, typically 1 to 3 years. If your vacuum's battery is old or faulty, it may not accept a charge, which is a battery issue, not a charger malfunction.
- Power Input: The adapter supports a worldwide input voltage range of 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz.
- Protection Features: This adapter includes Over Voltage Output Protection (OVP), Over Current Output Protection (OCP), and Short Circuit Output Protection (SCP) to ensure safe operation.
- Indoor Use Only: Use the adapter in dry, indoor environments only. Avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1 x UPBRIGHT 50.4V AC/DC Adapter
4. Setup Instructions
- Inspect the Adapter: Before connecting, visually inspect the adapter and cables for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Connect to Vacuum: Insert the barrel connector of the adapter's output cable firmly into the charging port of your CleanMax Zoom cordless upright vacuum.
- Connect to Power Outlet: Plug the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (100-240VAC). Ensure the power cord is appropriate for your region.

5. Operating Instructions
Once connected, the adapter will begin charging the vacuum's battery. Refer to your CleanMax Zoom vacuum's user manual for specific charging indicators and expected charging times. Disconnect the adapter from the wall outlet and the vacuum once charging is complete or when the vacuum is not in use for extended periods.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the adapter from power before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the adapter. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the adapter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture when not in use. Avoid wrapping the cable too tightly around the adapter to prevent damage.
- Cable Care: Do not bend, twist, or pull the cables excessively. Ensure cables are not pinched or placed under heavy objects.
7. Troubleshooting
- Vacuum Not Charging:
- Ensure the adapter is securely plugged into both the vacuum and a working wall outlet.
- Check the wall outlet by plugging in another device.
- Verify that the vacuum's battery is not at the end of its lifespan (typically 1-3 years). An old or faulty battery may not accept a charge.
- Confirm the adapter model is correct for your vacuum's battery specifications.
- Adapter Feels Warm: It is normal for the adapter to feel slightly warm during operation. If it becomes excessively hot, disconnect it immediately and contact customer support.
