1. Product Overview

The Marshall ML-702 is a professional broadcast monitor featuring dual 7-inch LCD screens, designed for rack-mount applications such as fly-packs, control rooms, and routing rooms. 2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the ML-702 monitor from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping. Retain all packaging materials for future transport or storage.

2.2 Rack Mounting

The ML-702 is designed for standard 3RU rack mounting. Secure the unit into a standard 19-inch equipment rack using appropriate rack screws. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.

2.3 Power Connection

Connect the provided DC power adapter to the "12V DC IN" port on the rear of the monitor. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet. The power indicator on the front panel will illuminate when power is supplied.

2.4 Video Input Connections

The ML-702 supports various video inputs for each screen. Connect your video sources to the corresponding input ports on the rear panel. Each screen has dedicated HDMI, 3G-SDI, and CVBS (Composite Video Broadcast Signal) inputs, along with looping outputs for SDI and HDMI.

3. Operation

3.1 Front Panel Controls

3.2 Menu Navigation

To access the OSD menu, press the MENU button. Use the rotary knob to scroll through menu categories and options. Press the rotary knob to select an option or enter a sub-menu. Rotate the knob to adjust values, and press again to confirm. Press the MENU button again to exit the OSD.
