DJI Mavic 3 Series 100W Battery Charging Hub Instruction Manual

1. Product Overview

The DJI Mavic 3 Series 100W Battery Charging Hub is designed to enhance the charging efficiency for your DJI Mavic 3 Intelligent Flight Batteries. When connected to a designated charger, this hub expands the charging interface to accommodate up to three batteries. It features an intelligent design that charges batteries in sequence, prioritizing those with lower power levels to get you back in the air faster.

Key Features:

  • Three-Battery Charging: Expands charging capacity to three batteries simultaneously.
  • Intelligent Sequential Charging: Prioritizes charging batteries with lower power levels first, optimizing efficiency.
  • Compatibility: Designed for DJI Mavic 3 Intelligent Flight Battery, DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter, DJI 65W Portable Charger, and DJI 65W Car Charger.
  • Compact Design: Lightweight and portable for easy transport.

2. Setup Instructions

Before using your DJI Mavic 3 Series 100W Battery Charging Hub, ensure you have a compatible power adapter. The charging hub itself does not include a charger.

  1. Unpack the Hub: Carefully remove the charging hub from its packaging.
  2. Prepare Power Adapter: Connect your compatible DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter, DJI 65W Portable Charger, or DJI 65W Car Charger to a power source.
  3. Connect Charging Hub: Plug the USB-C cable from your power adapter into the USB-C port on the side of the charging hub.
  4. Insert Batteries: Gently slide up to three DJI Mavic 3 Intelligent Flight Batteries into the designated slots on the charging hub. Ensure they are securely seated.

3. Operating Instructions

The DJI Mavic 3 Series 100W Battery Charging Hub operates with intelligent sequential charging to maximize efficiency.

  1. Initiating Charge: Once batteries are inserted and the hub is connected to a power source, the hub will automatically begin charging.
  2. Sequential Charging: The hub will assess the charge level of all inserted batteries and prioritize charging the battery with the lowest remaining power first. Once that battery is fully charged, it will proceed to charge the next battery with the lowest power, and so on, until all batteries are fully charged.
  3. Monitoring Charge Status: Refer to the battery's LED indicators to monitor its individual charging progress. The hub itself may also have indicators (check product-specific documentation for details).
  4. Charging Time: Charging times will vary depending on the power adapter used (e.g., 100W vs. 65W) and the initial charge level of the batteries. A 100W adapter will provide faster charging.

Important Considerations:

  • Always use DJI-approved power adapters for optimal performance and safety.
  • The charging hub may become warm during operation, which is normal.
  • Do not attempt to charge non-compatible batteries with this hub.

4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your charging hub.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the charging hub. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the charging hub in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the USB-C port and battery contacts for any signs of damage or debris.
  • Avoid Moisture: Keep the charging hub away from water and other liquids to prevent damage.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your charging hub, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Hub Not Charging:
    • Ensure the power adapter is properly connected to both the power source and the charging hub.
    • Verify that the power adapter is functioning correctly.
    • Check if the batteries are correctly inserted into the hub slots.
  • Slow Charging:
    • Confirm that you are using a compatible and sufficiently powerful charger (e.g., 100W for fastest charging).
    • Ensure the USB-C cable is not damaged and is fully inserted.
  • Battery Not Recognized:
    • Remove and re-insert the battery to ensure proper contact.
    • Check for any debris or damage on the battery contacts or within the hub slots.

If the issue persists, please contact DJI customer support for further assistance.
