  3. Ensure all listed parts are present before beginning assembly. Refer to the parts list in your separate assembly guide.

4.2 Assembly

Follow the detailed assembly instructions provided in the separate assembly manual. Ensure all bolts and fasteners are securely tightened. Do not overtighten.

4.3 Propane Tank Connection

  1. Ensure the propane tank valve is in the 'OFF' position.
  2. Connect the pre-installed line hose from the fire pit to your propane tank. Hand-tighten the connection firmly. Do not use tools to tighten.
  3. Check for gas leaks using a soapy water solution on all connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, turn off the gas, tighten the connection, and re-test. Do not operate if a leak persists.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Lighting the Fire Pit

  1. Ensure the fire pit area is clear of any flammable materials.
  2. Open the valve on the propane tank slowly.
  3. Push and hold the igniter button while simultaneously turning the control knob to the 'LOW' position.
  4. Continue to hold the igniter button for 10-15 seconds after ignition to ensure the flame is established.
  5. If the flame does not ignite, release the igniter button, turn the control knob to 'OFF', wait 5 minutes, and repeat the process.

5.2 Adjusting the Flame

Once the fire is lit, you can adjust the flame height by rotating the control knob between 'LOW' and 'HIGH' settings.

5.3 Turning Off the Fire Pit

  1. Turn the control knob to the 'OFF' position.
  2. Close the valve on the propane tank.
  3. Allow the fire pit to cool completely before covering or storing.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Regularly wipe down the surfaces of the fire pit table and chairs with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
  • For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
  • Ensure the fire pit is completely cool before cleaning the burner area or glass rocks.

6.2 Storage

  • When not in use, especially during inclement weather or off-season, cover the fire pit with a weather-resistant cover.
  • Store the propane tank in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • The chairs are stackable for convenient storage, as shown in the image below.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Fire Pit Does Not Ignite

  • Check Propane Tank: Ensure the propane tank is not empty and its valve is fully open.
  • Igniter Spark: Verify that the igniter is producing a spark. If not, check the battery in the igniter (if applicable) or ensure the igniter wire is securely connected.
  • Gas Flow: Ensure the gas line is not kinked or obstructed.
  • Air in Line: If recently connected, there might be air in the gas line. Repeat the lighting procedure several times to purge air.

7.2 Low Flame or Inconsistent Flame

  • Low Propane: The propane tank may be running low.
  • Over-filling Protection Device (OPD): If the propane tank valve was opened too quickly, the OPD may have activated, restricting gas flow. Close the tank valve, turn off the fire pit control knob, wait 5 minutes, then slowly reopen the tank valve and try lighting again.
  • Burner Ports: Check if burner ports are clogged with debris. Clean gently if necessary.

7.3 Gas Odor Detected

  • Immediately turn off the gas at the propane tank valve.
  • Evacuate the area.
  • Do not attempt to light the fire pit or any other appliance.
  • Contact emergency services or a qualified gas technician.
