Cleaning the Shower Head
The shower head features self-cleaning soft silicone nozzles designed to prevent limescale and dirt buildup. For general cleaning:
- Gently rub the silicone nozzles with your finger or a soft cloth to dislodge any mineral deposits.
- Wipe the exterior of the shower head with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or pads.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Water leaks from connections | Loose connections, missing/damaged gaskets, insufficient plumber's tape. | Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then slightly tightened with a wrench. Check that gaskets are properly seated. Apply plumber's tape to threaded connections. |
| Low water pressure | Clogged nozzles, clogged filter cartridge, low household water pressure. | Clean the silicone nozzles by rubbing them. Replace the filter cartridge if it's old. Check your home's main water supply. |
| Difficulty switching spray modes | Mineral buildup in the mechanism. | Run hot water through the shower head for a few minutes. Gently press the mode button repeatedly to dislodge any buildup. |
| Water appears turbid or discolored | Filter cartridge needs replacement. | Replace the filter cartridge as per the maintenance instructions. |
