Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories.
- Clean: Wash the inner pot, steam tray, serving spatula, soup ladle, and rice measuring cup in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Wipe Down: Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the rice cooker on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Ensure the inner pot is clean and properly seated inside the main unit.
- Add desired ingredients to the inner pot.
- Close the lid securely.
- Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
- Select the desired cooking function by pressing the corresponding button on the control panel.
- The cooker will automatically begin the cooking cycle. Once cooking is complete, the unit will typically switch to "Keep Warm" mode.
Cooking Rice (White Rice Example)
- Using the provided rice measuring cup, measure the desired amount of rice. Rinse rice thoroughly under cool water until the water runs clear.
- Place the rinsed rice into the inner pot.
- Add water to the inner pot according to the measurement lines inside the pot, corresponding to the number of rice cups used. For example, for 2 cups of rice, fill water to line 2. Refer to the "White Rice Chart" below for recommended ratios.
- Close the lid securely.
- Press the WHITE RICE button. The cooker will automatically adjust cooking time.
- Once cooking is complete, the cooker will beep and automatically switch to "Keep Warm" mode. For best results, allow rice to rest on "Keep Warm" for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Other Cooking Functions
- Brown Rice / Multi-Grain: Follow similar steps as white rice, adjusting water levels as per specific grain instructions or inner pot markings. Press the BROWN RICE or MULTI-GRAIN button.
- Sauté-Then-Simmer: This function allows you to sauté ingredients directly in the inner pot before simmering. Press SAUTÉ-THEN-SIMMER. Once sautéing is complete, add liquids and other ingredients, then the cooker will automatically switch to simmer mode.
- Steam: Place water in the inner pot (typically 1-2 cups). Place food in the steam tray and position it above the water. Close the lid and press the STEAM button. Use the +/- buttons to adjust steaming time.
- Slow Cook: Transform your rice cooker into a 5-quart slow cooker. Add ingredients, close the lid, and press the SLOW COOK button. Use the +/- buttons to set the desired cooking time.
- Oatmeal / Soup / Cake / Eggs / Risotto / Reheat: Each function is pre-programmed for optimal results. Simply add ingredients and select the corresponding button.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your rice cooker.
- Always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Inner Pot & Accessories: The non-stick inner pot, steam tray, serving spatula, soup ladle, and rice measuring cup should be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these will damage the non-stick coating.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Lid: The lid is not removable. Clean the inside of the lid and the rubber sealing ring with a damp cloth. Ensure no food particles are trapped.
- Condensation Collector: Remember to empty and clean the small condensation collector located on the back of the unit after each use.
