4. Setup

4.2 App Installation

Download and install the VicoHome app on your smartphone or tablet. Search for "VicoHome" in your device's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).

4.3 Device Pairing and Wi-Fi Connection

1. Open the VicoHome app and create an account or log in.
2. Tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to power on the camera and put it into pairing mode (usually indicated by a flashing LED). You may need to press the reset button for a few seconds.
4. Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. The camera only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
5. The app will generate a QR code. Position your camera to scan this QR code from your phone screen.
6. Once the camera successfully scans the QR code, it will connect to your Wi-Fi network. A voice prompt or LED indicator will confirm successful connection.

4.4 Mounting the Camera

Choose a suitable outdoor location for mounting. Ensure the area has good Wi-Fi signal strength and provides the desired viewing angle. The camera is IP65 weatherproof, suitable for various outdoor conditions.

1. Use the provided mounting bracket as a template to mark drill holes on the wall.
2. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View

Open the VicoHome app and select your camera from the device list to access the live video feed. You can view 1080P resolution footage remotely on your phone or tablet at any time.

5.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera features intelligent PIR sensors for human motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will:

• Trigger spotlights and alarms (if enabled).
• Send a mobile app notification to your device.
• Record the event.
