Introduction
The Aqara Cube T1 Pro is a versatile wireless controller designed to enhance your smart home experience. Utilizing Zigbee 3.0 technology, it offers stable connectivity and broad compatibility with various smart home ecosystems. This device allows you to control different scenes and smart devices through diverse actions and gestures.
Note: An Aqara Zigbee 3.0 Hub is required for this device to function and connect to third-party ecosystems like Apple HomeKit and Alexa.

Setup
1. Pairing with Aqara Hub
- Ensure your Aqara Zigbee 3.0 Hub is powered on and connected to your network.
- Open the Aqara Home app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Navigate to the 'Add Accessory' section.
- Use the provided ejector tool to open the battery cover of the Cube T1 Pro.
- Long press the reset button inside the battery compartment for 5 seconds until the blue light blinks three times.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the Aqara Home app to complete the pairing process.

2. Initial Configuration
Once paired, you can name your Cube T1 Pro and assign it to a specific room within the Aqara Home app. The app will display the current battery level and allow you to switch between Action Mode and Scene Mode.
Operating Modes
The Aqara Cube T1 Pro supports two primary operating modes: Action Mode and Scene Mode. These modes offer different ways to trigger automations.
1. Scene Mode (New)
Scene Mode provides clear, dice-like indicators on each of the six sides of the cube. Each side can be assigned to control a different scene or device without requiring you to memorize complex actions. This mode offers 11 control options within the Aqara app and 6 in Alexa/HomeKit.
- Flip to Side X: Assign a specific scene or device control to each of the six sides (1-6).
- Rotate: Control dimming or other continuous adjustments.
- Shake: Trigger a specific action by shaking the cube.
- Pick up and Hold: Activate an action by picking up and holding the cube.
- Trigger after One-Minute Inactivity: Initiate an action if the cube remains untouched for one minute.

2. Action Mode (Classic)
Action Mode offers a wider range of gestures for control, similar to previous Aqara Cube versions. This mode provides 6 distinct actions.
- Push: Press the cube down.
- Shake: Shake the cube.
- Rotate: Twist the cube.
- Tap Twice: Double-tap the cube.
- Flip 180°: Turn the cube upside down.
- Flip 90°: Rotate the cube 90 degrees on its side.
- Trigger after One-Minute Inactivity: Initiate an action if the cube remains untouched for one minute.
Note: Action Mode and Scene Mode cannot be used simultaneously. You must select one mode in the Aqara Home app.

Third-Party Ecosystem Integration
The Aqara Cube T1 Pro, when connected via an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 Hub, offers extensive compatibility with popular smart home platforms.
1. Apple HomeKit
The Cube T1 Pro can be configured as a wireless switch with 6 "buttons" in HomeKit, where each button represents one of the cube's sides. This allows you to trigger HomeKit-compatible scenes and devices.

2. Amazon Alexa
In Alexa, the Cube T1 Pro is exposed as 6 "motion sensors," allowing you to create routines based on which side of the cube is facing up. This enables control over Alexa-compatible lights, locks, outlets, thermostats, and more.
3. IFTTT
The Cube T1 Pro supports IFTTT, specifically for Scene Mode, expanding its automation capabilities with a wide range of connected services and devices.
Maintenance
Battery Life & Replacement
The Aqara Cube T1 Pro is designed for ultra-low energy consumption, offering up to 2 years of battery life. When the battery needs replacement, use the ejector tool to open the battery compartment and replace the CR2450 lithium metal battery. Ensure the positive electrode of the new battery is facing upwards.

Troubleshooting

- Difficulty pairing: Ensure the Aqara Hub is online and in pairing mode. Long press the reset button on the Cube T1 Pro for 5 seconds until the blue light blinks.
- Actions not triggering consistently: Some gestures, especially in Action Mode, may require a firm and clear motion. Practice the gestures to ensure consistent recognition.
- HomeKit/Alexa integration issues: Verify that your Aqara Hub is properly linked to HomeKit/Alexa. Ensure the Cube T1 Pro is in Scene Mode for optimal third-party integration.
