1. Introduction
The Artograph LED Tracer Opaque Art Projector is designed to assist artists and crafters in enlarging and tracing images. This portable device allows you to project flat artwork from 2 times up to 14 times its original size onto a vertical surface such as a wall or easel. It is suitable for various applications including sketching, outlining, creating murals, and transferring patterns.

2. Safety Information
- Power Supply: Use only the provided low voltage power adapter (12V, 1.5 AMP) and 6.5-foot long cord. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible and properly grounded.
- Ventilation: Do not block the ventilation openings on the projector. Adequate airflow is necessary to prevent overheating.
- Heat: The projector's casing may become warm to the touch after extended use. This is normal. If it becomes excessively hot, discontinue use and allow it to cool down.
- Placement: Place the projector on a stable, flat surface to prevent it from falling.
- Moisture: Keep the projector away from water or other liquids. Do not operate in damp environments.
- Children: This device is not a toy. Keep out of reach of small children.

5. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the power button, typically located on the top of the projector, to turn on the LED light source.
- Adjust Projection Distance: Move the projector closer to or further away from the vertical surface to adjust the size of the projected image. The projector can enlarge images from 2 times up to 14 times the original size.
- Focus Image: Rotate the lens barrel at the front of the projector to bring the projected image into sharp focus.
- Tracing: Once the image is focused and at the desired size, you can begin tracing or outlining on your chosen surface.
Tips for Best Results:
- Dark Environment: For maximum visibility and clarity of the projected image, operate the projector in a dark room. Ambient light significantly impacts projection performance.
- Large Designs: When working with larger designs or prints, it is recommended to work in sections.
- Image Contrast: Images with good contrast and clarity will project more effectively.

- Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Cleaning the Casing: Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the device.
- Storage: When not in use, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive dust.
- LED Lifespan: The integrated LED light source has a lifespan of up to 10,000 hours and does not require replacement.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image projected | Projector not powered on; Power cord not connected; Power outlet issue. | Ensure power button is pressed. Check power cord connections. Test outlet with another device. |
| Image is blurry | Lens out of focus; Projector too close/far from surface. | Rotate the lens barrel to adjust focus. Adjust the distance between the projector and the projection surface. |
| Projected image is dim | Too much ambient light; Low contrast artwork. | Operate in a darker room. Use artwork with higher contrast. |
| Projector feels hot | Extended use; Blocked ventilation. | Discontinue use and allow to cool. Ensure ventilation openings are clear. |
