Installation
The ARIEL Hepburn vanity base cabinet arrives fully assembled. Installation primarily involves securing the countertop and sink, and connecting plumbing. It is recommended to have two people for safe installation due to the weight of the vanity and countertop.
Tools and Materials Needed (Not Included):
- Pencil
- Silicone gun and silicone sealant
- Towel or cloth
- Adjustable wrench (for plumbing connections)
- Level
- Safety glasses
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Area: Ensure the installation area is clean, dry, and level. Position the vanity base cabinet in its desired location. The open back design facilitates plumbing setup.
- Install the Sink (if undermount):
- Place the basin upside down on the bottom of the countertop.
- Use a pencil to mark the position of the basin on the countertop.
- Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the top edge of the basin.
- Flip the basin and carefully place it within the marked area on the underside of the countertop. Allow 12 to 24 hours for the silicone to dry completely.
- Attach the undermount clips to secure the basin to the countertop, tightening them gently.
- Set the Countertop: Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the top perimeter of the vanity base cabinet. Carefully lift the countertop (with the sink already attached, if applicable) and set it in place on the vanity base. Ensure it is properly aligned.
- Install the Backsplash: Apply silicone sealant to the back edge of the countertop where the backsplash will sit, and also to the back of the backsplash itself. Carefully press the backsplash into place against the wall and countertop.
- Wipe Away Excess Silicone: Immediately wipe away any excess silicone sealant with a damp cloth or towel for a clean finish.
- Connect Plumbing: Connect the faucet, drain, and water supply lines according to the manufacturer's instructions for those components. Ensure all connections are watertight.
- Level the Vanity: Use the hidden leveling feet to adjust the vanity for a stable, wobble-free fit on uneven floors.

Operation
Your ARIEL Hepburn vanity is designed for ease of use and durability.
Soft-Closing Doors and Drawers:
The vanity features soft-closing hinges on the doors and full-extension soft-closing slides on the drawers. This mechanism ensures quiet operation and prevents slamming, extending the lifespan of the cabinet components. Simply push the doors or drawers gently to close, and the soft-close feature will engage automatically.
Tilt-Out Drawer:
One of the drawers is a 45-degree tilt-out drawer, ideal for storing smaller items or frequently accessed accessories. Gently pull the top edge of this drawer to open it.

Maintenance
To maintain the beauty and longevity of your ARIEL Hepburn bathroom vanity, follow these simple care instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the vanity surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or ammonia-based products, as these can damage the finish.
- Spills: Promptly wipe up any spills to prevent water damage or staining, especially on the wood surfaces.
- Hardware: Periodically check and tighten any loose hardware (handles, hinges) to ensure proper function.
- Environment: Maintain a consistent room temperature and humidity level to prevent wood warping or cracking.
Troubleshooting
Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drawers do not close smoothly or are uneven. | Misaligned drawer slides or obstructions. | Check for any items obstructing the drawer slides. Ensure the vanity is level using the adjustable feet. If issues persist, inspect drawer slides for damage or misalignment and adjust as needed. |
| Doors do not close properly or are misaligned. | Loose or misaligned hinges. | Adjust the screws on the soft-closing hinges to realign the doors. Refer to hinge manufacturer instructions for specific adjustment methods. |
| Water leaks around the sink or faucet. | Improperly sealed connections or loose plumbing. | Check all plumbing connections for tightness. Reapply silicone sealant around the sink and backsplash if necessary, ensuring a continuous, watertight seal. |
