Setup and Installation

The ARIEL Hepburn vanity base cabinet arrives fully assembled. The back is open for easier plumbing installation. Installation of the countertop and sink requires careful attention to detail.

Tools and Materials Needed:

• Pencil
• Silicone gun and silicone sealant
• Soft towel or cloth
• Undermount clips (typically included with sink)

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Basin and Countertop: Place the basin on the bottom side of the countertop to determine its position.
2. Mark Basin Position: Use a pencil to carefully mark the exact position of the basin on the underside of the countertop.
3. Apply Silicone to Basin: Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the top edge of the basin where it will meet the countertop.
4. Attach Basin to Countertop: Carefully flip the basin and place it onto the marked position on the underside of the countertop. Allow 12 to 24 hours for the silicone to dry and cure.
5. Secure Undermount Clips: Attach the undermount clips (if provided with your sink) to further secure the basin to the countertop.
6. Prepare Vanity Cabinet for Countertop: Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the top perimeter of the vanity base cabinet where the countertop will rest.
7. Set Countertop in Place: With assistance, carefully lift and set the countertop onto the vanity base cabinet, aligning it properly.
8. Install Backsplash: Apply silicone sealant to the back edge of the countertop and to the back of the backsplash piece. Carefully set the backsplash in place against the wall and countertop.
9. Clean Excess Silicone: Immediately wipe away any excess silicone sealant with a soft, damp cloth for a clean finish.
