1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.

3.1 Components

4. Setup and First Use
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials.
- Check that all components are present and undamaged.
- Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
4.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wash the water tank, portafilter, filter baskets, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the "MAX" level indicator.
- Place the water tank back into its position, ensuring it is securely seated.

4.4 Priming the Machine
Before first use or after a long period of inactivity, the machine needs to be primed to fill the internal system with water.
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Place a cup under the steam wand and open the steam knob.
- Plug in the machine and turn on the power.
- Press the steam button. Water will start to flow from the steam wand.
- Once water flows continuously, close the steam knob and press the steam button again to turn it off.
- The machine is now primed.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Making Espresso
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the machine is plugged in and powered on.
- Allow the machine to preheat until the indicator light for coffee brewing is steady.
- Add ground coffee to the portafilter. Use the appropriate filter basket for single or double espresso. Tamp the coffee evenly.
- Attach the portafilter to the brewing head, twisting it firmly to the right until secure.
- Place one or two espresso cups on the drip tray beneath the portafilter spouts.
- Press the desired coffee button (single or double espresso). The machine will start brewing.
- Monitor the manometer to ensure optimal brewing pressure.
- Once brewing is complete, the machine will stop automatically or you can stop it manually.
- Carefully remove the portafilter and discard the used coffee grounds.

5.2 Frothing Milk for Cappuccino/Latte
- Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to just below the spout.
- Press the steam button on the control panel. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate steadily, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.
- Position the steam wand into the milk, just below the surface.
- Open the steam knob slowly to release steam. Lower the pitcher slightly to introduce air for frothing, then submerge the wand deeper to heat the milk.
- Continue until the milk reaches desired temperature and texture. Close the steam knob and press the steam button to turn off steam.
- Wipe the steam wand immediately with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your coffee machine.
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Portafilter and Filter Baskets: After each use, remove the portafilter, discard coffee grounds, and rinse thoroughly under running water.
- Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray daily.
- Steam Wand: Immediately after frothing milk, wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth. Purge a small amount of steam to clear any internal milk residue.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
6.2 Descaling
Descaling should be performed regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-3 months). Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for coffee machines.
- Prepare the descaling solution according to the manufacturer's instructions and pour it into the water tank.
- Place a large container under the brewing head and steam wand.
- Turn on the machine and run approximately half of the solution through the brewing head by pressing the coffee button.
- Open the steam knob and run the remaining solution through the steam wand.
- Turn off the machine and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill it with fresh water.
- Repeat steps 3-5 with fresh water to rinse the system completely.
7. Troubleshooting
