1. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly assemble and install the BEAMNOVA 1 Ton Manual I-Beam Trolley.

4.1 Assembly

1. Unpack all components and verify against the parts list (refer to Figure 2.1).
2. Attach the wheels to the side plates using the provided axles and bearings. Ensure the wheels rotate freely.
3. Insert the balance shaft through the designated holes in the side plates and secure it.
4. The installation methods for both sides of the trolley are identical.

4.2 Adjusting for I-Beam Width

The trolley's width is adjustable to fit I-beams ranging from 1.57 to 6.1 inches. Use the provided casing gaskets to achieve the correct fit.

1. Determine the width of your I-beam.
2. The trolley kit includes multiple casing gaskets, each measuring 28mm (1.1 inches).
3. To adjust the distance between the two steel plates, add or remove gaskets as needed. For narrower I-beams, fix the steel plate on the side of the trolley.
4. Ensure the trolley fits snugly on the I-beam without binding, allowing for smooth movement.
5. Securely tighten all bolts and the side locking nuts after adjustment.

4.3 Mounting the Hoist

Once the trolley is securely installed on the I-beam and adjusted to the correct width, attach your compatible electric hoist (e.g., PA600-PA1000 series) to the trolley's designated attachment point. Ensure the hoist is properly secured according to its own instruction manual and the trolley's load capacity.

5. Operating Instructions

This manual trolley is designed for manual push operation along an I-beam or H-beam track. It provides a stable platform for your electric hoist.

1. Pre-Operation Check: Before each use, perform a visual inspection of the trolley, hoist, and beam. Check for any signs of damage, loose fasteners, or obstructions on the track.
2. Load Attachment: Securely attach the load to the hoist hook. Ensure the load is balanced and within the trolley's 1-ton (2204 lbs) capacity.
3. Movement: To move the load, apply a steady, even force to push or pull the hoist and trolley along the I-beam. Avoid sudden jerks or excessive force.
