6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your soft serve machine. Perform these steps at the end of each business day:
- Defrost: Use the one-click defrost function to help melt any remaining product in the freezing cylinders.
- Empty Mix: Power off the machine and empty any remaining mix from the hoppers.
- Rinse: Rinse the hoppers and freezing cylinders using the wash-assist function.
- Disassemble & Clean: Disassemble all food-contact parts (dispensing handles, beater assembly, etc.). Thoroughly clean and sanitize these parts with appropriate food-grade cleaners and sanitizers.
- Inspect: Check seals, O-rings, and other wear parts regularly. Replace them as needed to prevent leaks and ensure proper operation.
- Air Filter: As an air-cooled machine, keep the vents clear and clean the removable side filter routinely. This ensures stable cooling performance.
- Reassemble: Reassemble all parts, ensuring they are dry and correctly installed.
Important: Do not use harsh abrasives or spray water directly on the control panel or electrical areas. Daily cleaning is recommended even when using pre-cool or night mode.
