3.2 ARGB Lighting Control

The ARGB lighting of the pre-installed fans can be controlled in two primary ways:

  • Motherboard Software Sync: The lighting is compatible with motherboard RGB software from major brands such as ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync. Connect the ARGB cable from the case to the compatible 5V ARGB header on your motherboard.
  • Case Control: If not connected to motherboard software, the lighting effects can typically be cycled through using the dedicated ARGB button on the case (often integrated with the reset button). Refer to the specific wiring instructions provided with your chassis for proper connection.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your computer case.

  • Dust Cleaning: Periodically clean dust filters (if present) and internal components using compressed air. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Tempered Glass Panel: Clean the tempered glass side panel with a soft, lint-free cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the surface.
  • Fan Cleaning: Gently clean fan blades to remove dust buildup, which can impede airflow and increase noise.

5. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your chassis.

  • No Power:
    • Ensure the power supply is properly connected to the motherboard and all components.
    • Verify that the front panel power switch cable is correctly connected to the motherboard's F_PANEL header.
  • ARGB Fans Not Lighting Up/Syncing:
    • Check if the ARGB cables from the fans are securely connected to the ARGB controller or directly to the motherboard's 5V ARGB header.
    • If using motherboard software, ensure the software is installed and configured correctly.
    • If using the case button, ensure the button's cable is connected to the ARGB controller.
  • Poor Airflow/High Temperatures:
    • Ensure all fans are spinning correctly and are oriented for proper airflow (front intake, rear/top exhaust).
    • Clean any dust filters and fan blades.
    • Verify that cables are managed efficiently to avoid obstructing airflow.
  • Loose Tempered Glass Panel:
    • Ensure all four thumb screws are securely tightened.
    • Check that the rubber grommets are in place to prevent vibration and provide a secure fit.
