3. Setup and Installation

The ENDORFY Navis F360 features a redesigned mounting system for fast and convenient assembly. Ensure your system is powered off and unplugged before beginning installation.

Compatibility:

This cooler is compatible with a wide range of modern CPU sockets:

  • Intel Sockets: LGA 1700, LGA 1200, LGA 115x (1150, 1151, 1155, 1156)
  • AMD Sockets: AM5, AM4

General Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare your motherboard by installing the correct backplate and standoffs for your CPU socket type.
  2. Apply the included thermal compound to the center of your CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).
  3. Carefully place the pump/water block onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting holes. Secure it with the appropriate screws.
  4. Mount the 360mm radiator with the pre-installed fans to an available fan mounting location in your PC case (e.g., front, top).
  5. Connect the pump's PWM cable to the CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header on your motherboard.
  6. Connect the fan cables to available fan headers on your motherboard or a fan controller.
  7. Ensure all cables are routed neatly and do not obstruct airflow.

4. Operating Instructions

Once installed, the ENDORFY Navis F360 operates automatically based on your motherboard's fan and pump control settings. The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) functionality allows for dynamic adjustment of pump and fan speeds according to CPU temperature, ensuring efficient cooling while minimizing noise.

Fan and Pump Control:

  • The pump and fans are connected via 4-pin PWM connectors.
  • You can configure fan curves and pump speeds through your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings or dedicated software provided by your motherboard manufacturer.
  • For optimal performance and acoustics, it is recommended to set a fan curve that increases fan speed with rising CPU temperatures, and a pump speed that maintains consistent flow.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AIO liquid cooler.

  • Dust Removal: Periodically clean dust from the radiator fins and fan blades using compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure fans are not spinning during cleaning.
  • Tube Inspection: Check the rubber hoses for any signs of kinks, leaks, or damage. While the hoses are kink-resistant, extreme bends should be avoided.
  • Pump Block: Ensure the pump block is securely mounted to the CPU. No user maintenance is required for the sealed liquid loop.
  • Thermal Paste: The included thermal paste is sufficient for several installations. If you ever need to remount the cooler, it is recommended to clean off old thermal paste and apply new paste.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ENDORFY Navis F360, refer to the common problems and solutions below.

Common Issues and Solutions:

  • High CPU Temperatures:
    • Ensure the pump is running and connected to the correct motherboard header (CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP).
    • Verify that fans are spinning and correctly oriented for airflow (pushing or pulling air through the radiator).
    • Check thermal paste application. Reapply if necessary, ensuring even coverage.
    • Confirm the water block is securely mounted and making good contact with the CPU.
  • Unusual Noise (Gurgling/Bubbling):
    • Small amounts of air trapped in the loop can cause gurgling, especially during initial setup. This often dissipates over time.
    • Ensure the radiator is mounted higher than the pump block if possible, to allow air to collect in the radiator.
    • If noise persists, gently tilt your PC case to help move air bubbles.
  • Fans Not Spinning:
    • Check fan cable connections to the motherboard or fan controller.
    • Verify fan speed settings in BIOS/UEFI. Ensure they are not set to 0 RPM mode at low temperatures if you expect them to spin constantly.
