1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Lehmann 3000W Electric Fan Heater, model LTOHE-3020. Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and retain them for future reference.

Important Safety Instructions

  • Always ensure the heater is placed on a stable, level surface.
  • Do not cover the heater or obstruct its air inlets/outlets.

3. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or return if necessary.
  2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space around the heater to allow for proper airflow and to prevent fire hazards. Do not place it directly under a power outlet.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is switched off (control knob set to '0') before plugging it into a suitable 230V AC, 50Hz power outlet. The outlet must be properly grounded and capable of handling a 3000W load.
  4. Tilt Adjustment: The heater's stand allows for angle adjustment. Loosen the side knobs, adjust the heater to the desired tilt, and then securely tighten the knobs.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Lehmann fan heater offers multiple operating modes for versatile use.

Control Knob Functions

  • Left Knob (Power/Fan Selector):
    • 0: Off
    • Fan Only: Operates the fan without heat (30W).
    • Heat Level 1: Low heat setting.
    • Heat Level 2: Medium heat setting.
    • Heat Level 3: High heat setting (3000W).
  • Right Knob (Thermostat): Adjusts the desired room temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this temperature.

Starting the Heater

  1. Plug the heater into a suitable power outlet.
  2. Turn the right (thermostat) knob to the maximum setting ('MAX').
  3. Turn the left (power/fan selector) knob to your desired heat level (1, 2, or 3) or to the fan-only setting. The heater will begin to operate.

Setting the Thermostat

  1. Once the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the right (thermostat) knob counter-clockwise until the heater turns off.
  2. The heater will now automatically cycle on and off to maintain this set temperature.

Turning Off the Heater

  1. Turn the left (power/fan selector) knob to the '0' position.
  2. Unplug the heater from the power outlet. Allow the heater to cool down completely before moving or storing it.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper storage will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your heater.

Cleaning

  • Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the grilles and air inlets/outlets.
  • Never immerse the heater in water or any other liquid.

Storage

  • Store the heater in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • If possible, store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

6. Troubleshooting
