Setup
1. Inserting MicroSD Card (Optional)
If you wish to record video locally, insert a MicroSD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the camera's slot. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card. The slot is typically located by rotating the camera lens upwards to reveal it.
2. Powering On
Connect the provided USB cable to the camera's power port and plug the adapter into a power outlet. The camera will power on and begin its initialization sequence. It will typically enter pairing mode within 10 seconds, making a prompt sound like "waiting for Wi-Fi connection" and rotating.
3. Resetting the Camera
If the camera does not enter pairing mode or you need to reset it, locate the reset button. This button is usually found by rotating the camera lens completely upward. Press and hold the reset button for more than 5 seconds until you hear a confirmation sound indicating a successful reset.
4. App Download and Pairing
Download the "WOOX Security" app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android). Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. You will need to confirm your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and password. The app will then generate a QR code that the camera needs to scan. Hold your phone's screen with the QR code in front of the camera lens until you hear a prompt indicating successful Wi-Fi information reception. The app will then search for and register the device to your account.
