1. Introduction

The Cooler Master MM712 Wireless Gaming Mouse is an advanced peripheral designed for optimal gaming performance and versatility. It features a lightweight, seamless design, offering both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. Equipped with a high-precision 19,000 DPI optical sensor, durable optical micro switches, and low-friction PTFE feet, the MM712 provides responsive and agile control. The included Ultraweave cable ensures minimal drag when used in wired mode or for charging.

3.1. Package Contents

3.2. Initial Connection

The MM712 offers three connection modes: Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.1.

  1. Wired Mode:
    • Connect the detachable Ultraweave Cable to the USB-C port on the front of the mouse.
    • Plug the USB-A end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer.
    • The mouse will automatically power on and be ready for use.
  2. 2.4GHz Wireless Mode:
    • Locate the 2.4GHz wireless dongle (USB receiver) on the underside of the mouse. It is typically stored in a small compartment.

    • Remove the dongle and plug it into an available USB port on your computer. For optimal signal, use the included USB-A to USB-C adapter and Ultraweave cable to position the dongle closer to the mouse.
    • On the underside of the mouse, slide the switch to the 2.4GHz wireless icon.
    • The mouse will connect automatically.
  3. Bluetooth 5.1 Mode:
    • On the underside of the mouse, slide the switch to the Bluetooth icon.
    • Press and hold the "Pair" button (located near the switch) for 3 seconds until the mouse's RGB lighting starts blinking, indicating pairing mode.
    • On your computer or device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and search for "Cooler Master MM712".
    • Select the mouse to complete the pairing process.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. DPI Adjustment

The MM712 features an on-the-fly DPI adjustment button, typically located behind the scroll wheel. Press this button to cycle through preset DPI levels. Default DPI levels can be customized using the MasterPlus+ software.

4.2. Charging the Mouse

To charge the MM712, connect the Ultraweave Cable to the mouse and a powered USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter. The mouse can be used in wired mode while charging.

4.3. MasterPlus+ Software

For advanced customization, download and install the Cooler Master MasterPlus+ software from the official Cooler Master website. This software allows you to:

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your MM712 mouse:

5.2. PTFE Feet Replacement

Over time, the PTFE feet may wear down. Replacement feet are included in the package. To replace:

  1. Carefully peel off the old PTFE feet using a thin, non-abrasive tool.
  2. Ensure the surface is clean and free of adhesive residue.
  3. Align the new PTFE feet with the recesses on the underside of the mouse and press firmly to secure them.
