Setup and Installation
1. Pre-Installation Checks
- Verify TV Compatibility:
For PSMFK7: Fits most 26"-55" TVs up to 70 lbs (31.8 kg) with VESA patterns from 100x100mm to 400x400mm.
For PSMTK1: Fits most 23"-60" TVs up to 115 lbs (52 kg) with VESA patterns from 75x75mm to 400x400mm.

- Identify Wall Type: This mount is designed for installation on single wood studs, solid concrete, or brick walls. DO NOT install on drywall alone.
- Check for Cable Blockage: Ensure the TV's power and input ports will not be blocked by the mounting brackets.
2. Attaching TV Brackets to TV
- Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface.
- Select the correct screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA mounting holes.
- Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure the brackets are level and securely fastened.
3. Mounting the Wall Plate
- Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the drilling locations on the wall.
- For Wood Stud Installation: Use a stud finder to locate the center of a wood stud. Drill pilot holes (e.g., 7/32" or 5.5mm) at the marked locations. Secure the wall plate using lag bolts and washers.
- For Concrete/Brick Wall Installation: Drill pilot holes (e.g., 3/8" or 10mm) at the marked locations. Insert concrete anchors into the holes. Secure the wall plate using lag bolts and washers.
- Use the included bubble level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal before tightening all fasteners.
4. Mounting TV to Wall Plate
- With an assistant, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
- Hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated on the mount.
- For PSMFK7: Secure the TV to the mount using the safety screws or locking mechanisms provided.
- For PSMTK1: Engage the locking mechanism with the quick release pull-down straps to secure the TV.

Operating Your TV Mount
PSMFK7 Full Motion Mount Adjustments

- Tilt Adjustment: The mount features a +5°/-15° tilt range. Loosen the tilt knobs on the TV brackets, adjust the TV to the desired angle, and then tighten the knobs to secure.
- Swivel Adjustment: The articulating arm allows for a +/-90° swivel. Gently push or pull the TV to the desired viewing angle.
- Extension/Retraction: Extend the TV up to 19.17 inches (48.7 cm) from the wall for optimal viewing or retract it back to 3.2 inches (8.1 cm) for a low-profile look.
- Leveling Adjustment: After installation, you can make a +/-3° leveling adjustment to ensure the TV is perfectly horizontal.
PSMTK1 Tilting Mount Adjustments
- Tilt Adjustment: The PSMTK1 allows for a downward tilt. Loosen the tilt bolts on the side of the TV brackets, adjust the TV to the desired angle, and then tighten the bolts.
- Locking Mechanism: Use the pull-down straps to engage or disengage the quick-release locking mechanism, securing the TV to the wall plate.
Maintenance
- Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight and secure.
- Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure no cables are pinched or stressed by the mount's movement.
Troubleshooting
- TV is not level: Use the leveling adjustment feature (PSMFK7) or re-adjust the tilt bolts (PSMTK1) and ensure the wall plate was installed level.
- Mount feels loose: Re-check all wall plate and TV bracket fasteners. Ensure they are tightened securely. If installed on a wood stud, confirm the lag bolts are fully engaged in the stud. If on concrete, ensure anchors are properly seated.
- Difficulty moving full motion mount: Check for any obstructions. Ensure all pivot points are free of debris. If the movement is too stiff or too loose, some joints may have adjustable tension screws (refer to specific model diagrams if available).
- Missing parts: Do not proceed with installation. Contact PERLESMITH customer support for replacement parts.
