Initial Charging and Docking

Place the charging dock against a wall in an open area, ensuring no obstacles are within 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front of it. Connect the power adapter to the dock and plug it into a wall outlet. Place the bObsweep robot onto the charging pins. The robot will automatically begin charging. For first-time use, fully charge the robot before its initial cleaning cycle.

App Setup and Wi-Fi Connectivity

Download the bObsweep app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The app allows you to control the robot, view cleaning maps, set schedules, and define NoSweep Zones.

Operating Instructions

Cleaning Modes

The bObsweep PetHair SLAM offers versatile cleaning options:

• Vacuuming: Utilizes TurboLift vacuuming for powerful suction on various floor types, effectively picking up pet hair, dust, and debris.
• Wet Mopping: Attach the water reservoir and mop pad for motorized wet mopping, ideal for hard floors.

Mapping and Navigation

Equipped with Quantum Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (QSLAM) and Real-Time Computing (RTC), Bob boots faster and maps rooms on the fly without needing an exploration session. It plans a full coverage of the area, ensuring no spots are missed. You can track, schedule, and personalize your vacuum cleaner’s detailed map within the app.

• Editable Map: Customize your home's map within the app.
• NoSweep Zones: Draw any shape of NoSweep Zones to restrict Bob from entering certain areas.
• Room-to-Room Cleaning: Enable specific room cleaning for targeted sessions.

Scheduling and Voice Control

Schedule cleaning sessions directly from the bObsweep app. You can set specific times and days for cleaning, and even select particular rooms or areas. For added convenience, the bObsweep PetHair SLAM is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, allowing you to start, stop, or send Bob back to his dock using simple voice commands.

Privacy Features

bObsweep prioritizes your privacy. The robot sends no pictures of your room layout or cleaning habits to external servers or the cloud. Any personal information you input into the app (such as name and email address) is strictly stored on U.S.-based servers and is not exported to foreign servers.

Dustbin and Water Reservoir

The bObsweep features a large 600 mL dustbin and a 350 mL water reservoir. Empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle or as needed. Refill the water reservoir before mopping sessions. Both are designed for easy removal and cleaning.

Brushes and Filters

The main brush and twin side brushes work in tandem to collect debris. Regularly inspect and clean these brushes to remove tangled hair and maintain cleaning efficiency. The cartridge filter should also be cleaned periodically and replaced when necessary to ensure proper suction.
